Do you think that sin normally involves sex or money? What about the first sin? Sex and money were not issues for sin in the garden, but I told the inhabitants not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, lest they die. You live in a culture that values knowledge highly, so much so that it is even called an information culture. Learning is universally sought and admired. Most people don’t think of this as a sin. Do you? If not, then have you ever wondered why I made this the first and only commandment to Adam and Eve, and wondered if there is a modern day equivalent corresponding to it?

Very intersting thought,

Very intersting thought, especially regarding the modern school system and how much pressure are being put on children today to study and perform. To the point where anxiety and depression are on the rise under young people. The world system has become one of competition for knowledge where God's system is telling us to seek for true wisdom and character.
