Do you prefer to make mistakes that you can catch and correct yourself, or ones that are caught by others and brought back to you? The easiest correction you can receive is that which you give yourself. Yet to have this easy form of correction you must be open to receive it.
You must become an active participant. So let a man examine himself. So I have told you to judge yourself that you should not be judged. Why would you deliberately put time and effort into a process that is painful and requires you to change? Because it is easier than having it imposed on you from without later, because it is more effective, but most of all because it will change you to be more like me.
