God desires to encounter us through "The Tabernacle Experience." This includes seven steps of preparation as we come before Him to receive from Him. More than 50 chapters of Scripture are devoted to the tabernacle. That is more than Matthew and Mark put together! The tabernacle is important to God!
We understand that the tabernacle is a prototype. It represents a pattern God has set out for us to use as we approach Him. It is a pattern, a copy and a shadow of our approach into the heavenlies (Heb. 8:5).

The steps we take as we come into God's presence
Imagine yourself standing before each piece of furniture in the tabernacle...
- The Gate - we enter with praise on our lips: I am thankful. I will bless your name (Ps. 100:4)!
- Brazen Altar - where we lay down our lives: Lord, is there any area in my life where You are asking me to lay down the desires of my flesh?
- Laver - where we wash ourselves with the Word: Lord, is there a specific section of Scripture You desire me to apply?
- Table of Showbread - where we eat together in fellowship: Lord, is there an area where I am out of fellowship with others, and I need to let go of self will?
- Lampstand - lit with illumination from the Holy Spirit: Lord, is there an area in my life where You would like to give me insight?
- Altar of Incense - where a fragrant aroma ascends continuously: Lord, am I a continuous worshipper?
- Ark of the Covenant - where I stand or kneel silently before Him: Lord, I wait quietly in Your presence to receive from You.
