Starting the New Year with a Word from the Lord

The following journaling was done by Lynda Turner on December 27, 2013. Lynda attended my seminar in Midlothian, Virginia and has been journaling more faithfully ever since. 

The year is closing quickly, Lord, and there is much to be done. What would You say to me this day?

You think of self, and others. Think of Me first. What is My will for you, My purpose, My heart’s desire for you? The lines are not always clear, but I will make them clear. I will make known to you which way is best, which decision most fruitful. All small decisions have intricate consequences, in time, energy, thought, results. In fact, no decisions are small, they just seem small.

Trust Me in the tiny places, nooks and crannies in the flow of time. A stream bed is altered by small deviations in its path. So with the flow of your life. Know that the stream of your life’s energy, purpose, spirit, is held securely in My hand. You have come from Me. You shall surely return to Me when your earthly course is finished. My purposes in you are YES and AMEN. They will be accomplished. The stream of your life will rush and ripple, moving to accomplish all I have ordained for you.

Do not fear. Do not be afraid to set aside perceived duties for times of play and pleasure. I am in those times. I am in all your times. Your first and last Responsibility is to Me - to know Me, to fellowship with Me, to enjoy My company and companionship. For this, you were created. Do not hesitate to draw aside, to ponder My Word, My ways, My wisdom. This pleases My heart. Do not be afraid to BE, life is not always DOING. Being is important. Rejoice in all I have given, all that you perceive I AM. Our relationship is a glorious treasure. I will make My light and life to shine through you and draw many others to Me. Be at peace. Let each day contain My Presence, for you are My beloved, and I am yours.
