The Mine Shaft A Prophetic Dream & Interpretation from an Intercessor
Mark, Our prayer team is taking your course, How to Hear God's Voice. We are amazed by the dreams and journal entries that are emerging. Here is a dream I had recently and the interpretation that Jesus has given me so far. I think there is more to come.

Mary Wrights Dream: The entire prayer team was in a mining town of some sort a place of great poverty and darkness. Teachers (all were women) were complaining that they didnt have enough resources to teach the children. We wanted to escape from this dark place of despair, so we waited until night and went down in the mine shaft looking for a way out. Guards would walk by overhead to make sure no one was stealing from the mine and we would get very quiet. We were afraid they would find us.

But just after a guard walked past, a tile was loosened and went cascading down into the mine shaft to layers below where we were setting off a huge collapse of tumbling tiles. The noise was so loud, the guards were alerted, and everyone in the mine was ordered to come out. There were MANY people who came out. We all sat down on a wall above the mine shaft, feeling guilty, knowing that whatever we had been doing down there would be exposed.

The investigators started pulling things out of the mine shaft. There was equipment, computers, software, and all kinds of tools. The teachers were shocked. They kept repeating, We didnt have enough resources to teach the children, and look at all of this! They knew that people had been robbing the system to support their private pleasures in secret. One investigator pulled out a computer and a tax program. He said, [Name withheld by God but this is a famous, well-known person] even had his taxes done down there, and he is one of the richest men in the world! We just knew that all of the secret things that people had been doing would be exposed brought to the light. And we were waiting for the secret things WE had done to come to the light.

Interpretation (so far): The collapsing tiles represent our global economy but this is the activity that leads to the investigation and brings corruption to light. The famous person whose taxes were being done at taxpayers expense reveals the theft of resources by rich and powerful people at our childrens expense. Our self-serving actions now are robbing us of our future. The prayers of the intercessors are what start the tiles falling and the collapse of what covers up the hidden things. The prayers have to come at night...during a time and in a way that is not expected by others and not seen by the enemy. But when things come into the light, they can be dealt with. The sins of the world will come to light.

The Church is also guilty of looking for rapture (a way out) instead of a 'Kingdom Come' commitment. God is going to expose all of the secret sins the things done in darkness. Also, the teachers and the mine shaft are significant. The mine shaft represents narrow focus both in the world and in the Church. We do a lot of teaching in the Church, but we dont embrace the five-fold ministry.

As the other resources are exposed, we now have the tools (the full five-fold ministry) to really minister to the next generation through the Church. The guards represent the spirit of control, religious spirit, and strongholds. The Churchs sins will be exposed as either participating in the theft of resources or ignoring whats been going on. We are facing a time of judgment and exposure in this nation and around the world because God will not allow the unclean and sinful activity to continue. And He will expose His Church, because He wants it to become a spotless Bride.

Note from Mark Virkler: I agree with the above dream and interpretation and ask all to pray earnestly for this exposure of evil to come forth so the financial destruction that appears before us can be averted. Also, remember that judgment begins in the house of the Lord (1 Pet. 4:17), so NOW is the time to repent from any personal sins so God does not need to judge them and expose you in the housecleaning that He has begun.

In January, Mark taught the How to Hear Gods Voice seminar to about 150 attendees at Chiswick Christian Centre. The church then purchased 10 sets of DVDs on How to Hear Gods Voice, and are running all of their Purpose-Led Life Groups through the 3-month follow-up course. The church also subsidized a portion of the cost of each copy of the How to Hear Gods Voice book, in order to ensure that each home cell group family received a copy. In addition, each cell group participant purchased a copy of the How to Hear Gods Voice Seminar Guide, which they reviewed as they watched the DVDs. This church is doing it right and will be transformed!
