God has gifted you in special ways that are different from everyone else (1 Cor. 7:7). You don’t need to try to be like someone else. Your passion should be, “How has God gifted me? What is the unique destiny God has for me? What is my next step in fulfilling my destiny?”
These are questions we will be exploring and guiding you to answer in this month’s free worldwide training series, “Gifted to Succeed on a Winning Team.”
It took me many years to find these answers for my life, and that is fine, as we grow into our calling. We start with a more general education, but we are wired internally with a passion and ability to do some very specific things. For each of us, it is different.
Let’s begin with your passion! What do you love doing more than anything else? That is the guiding light to your ministry, success, and destiny. What energizes you when you do it? What are you naturally drawn to do? What drains your energy? What do you seek to avoid? These answers will point to your destiny.
What do others tell you that you are good at? This is further confirmation of the path you are to be choosing.
When you ask God to guide you, what crossroads does God put before you? Which way is His sovereign finger leading? Honoring these serendipitous encounters as signs from God can further point you in the right direction.
Who or what inspires you? Jesus, Peter, Paul, John, Musk, Finney, Martin Luther King Jr, Michelangelo?
What makes you want to get up in the morning?
We have a dozen unique profiles for you to complete in this training on Gifted to Succeed. Completing these personality and giftedness questionnaires will help you think through, “Who am I? What do I love? What am I good at?” You will get a clearer view of yourself and where you are in your preparedness to fulfill the destiny God has for you.
These are only a few of the questions we will help you explore in this month’s training. The next big piece to this puzzle is “Whom does God want you teamed with to complement and magnify the gifts and graces He has placed within you?” Ask Him. Look around and see who or what lights up. Pursue these highlighted guideposts. They will take you in the right direction.
A well-oiled team of competent, gifted individuals can accomplish miracles. You want to be part of such a team. God wants you to function within such a team. If you ask Him to take you there and listen, observe, and follow His direction, you will reach that goal.
Along the way, you will go through stages on life’s journey. The apostle Paul started out fervent for God and the Bible but without the Spirit, so he was missing his boat and persecuting the Church. God got his attention on the Damascus Road through a heavenly encounter. Paul then went away to be trained in the ways of the Spirit. Paul came back, empowered with both the Word and Spirit. In the church at Antioch, Paul was a teacher (Acts 13:1-3). Later he was considered an apostle (Gal. 1:1). Paul then spent years in prison, where he wrote about a third of the New Testament. So, step by step, God was leading Paul into the fulfillment of his destiny.
"For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable” (Rom. 11:29). Where are you on the path of your life? How about you spend time with us this month experiencing this training on “Gifted to Succeed on a Winning Team” and you nail down where you are and what God is saying is your next step? Fulfilling your destiny is fun! Come, let’s grow together.
- "Do not neglect the spiritual gift within you" (1 Tim. 4:14).
- "Kindle afresh the gift of God which is in you" (2 Tim. 1:6).
