The Bible tells us praying in tongues is a manifestation or gift of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:7-11). Therefore it obviously has great value for our lives. Even though our minds may say this is ridiculous baby talk and has no value, what do you suppose the value is? The following journaling is from Malachi Talabi.
I was praying in tongues and saw this:
When I was praying, I saw Jesus sitting in front of me. He stretched forward his hand, pulled out my heart and put it into his hand (yes, this seems weird). He then pulled out his heart. He opened his heart and took things out. I couldn’t see what they were; I could just see what he was doing. Then he put those things that he had taken out of his heart into my heart and then resealed my heart.
Then he opened my heart once more and took some things out and then closed my heart.
I felt God say that when I pray in tongues, I kickstart the process where his desire starts to become my desire and I also lose desires that are not from him.
"He who searches the hearts know what the mind of the spirit is" (Romans 8:26-27) was a Scripture I was thinking about afterwards.
I know this was a very strange inner vision.
PART 2
The next day (while praying in tongues), I had another inner vision. I was praying in tongues and my heart was beating quickly and I could hear it “bump bump bump bump.” Jesus was sitting in front of me and he held both of my hands. We were hand-to-hand, eye-to-eye. I could hear his heart beating too, but it was beating much more slowly than mine. As I continued to pray in tongues, my heart slowed down and then I could hear my heart and Jesus’ heart beat at the EXACT same pace! When this happened, my heart and his heart floated towards each other and became one heart!
After this picture passed, I asked God what it meant.
He said, "When you begin to pray in tongues, you may start off with your cares and anxieties but as you continue to pray, you actually tap into my heart and your heart becomes synchronized with my heart. I want you to think about synchronized swimming. When you pray in tongues, you are synchronizing your heart and soon you will be able to follow your heart when it comes to making decisions. You’ll just know what to do."
I did some research on Google and discovered that when two lovers are physically close, their hearts beat at the same pace! Two hearts beat as one because there is an intimate relationship between them.
Research:
Emilio Ferrer, a UC Davis psychology professor who has conducted a series of studies on couples in romantic relationships, found that couples connected to monitors measuring heart rates and respiration get their heart rate in sync, and they breathe in and out at the same intervals.

This is very cool bc I received a prophecy in April, 2018 & she said my heart was beating in tune with Gods. I’d forgotten about that u til I read your post. That meant a lot bc at times I wonder if He’s happy with the decisions I’m making.
