Quarantine and Cleanliness: God’s Ideas or Just the Government's?

Mark Virkler's picture

Because of Covid-19, we have all been told to self-quarantine in our homes for a month. Wow! I am 68 and NEVER has our nation told us to do such a thing!

Some churches are not doing it. A church in Tampa last week held services, and the pastor was arrested.

Prophetic Prayer Releases Kingdom Promises

Mark Virkler's picture

Prophetic prayer begins by hearing God’s voice in your heart. For me, this comes as flowing words which just appear. For example, as I was wondering how to pray for a situation in which there was animosity, the following phrase appeared effortlessly within me as a spontaneous, flowing thought:

“My peace which surpasses all understanding shall fill their hearts and their minds, their sleep, their dreams, their bedroom, their home and their office.”

It was clear to me that I was to pray and speak this prophetic reality into the situation. This was the way God was moving in that situation. The phrase came to me day and night over three weeks, and each time it came, I declared in faith that this was God’s will, purpose and promise concerning this situation. This is prophetic prayer. In each case the timing of the fulfillment comes from the Lord. In this case, after three weeks I received a wonderful letter of peace! Prayer answered! Thank You Lord!

Inner Healing for an Organ Prayer Worksheet

Mark Virkler's picture

In addition to healing prayer, great nutrition and exercise, you can restore a damaged organ in your body by removing any emotions which contributed to the organ's malfunction and any false identification you may have made with this infirmity by saying, "This is who I am." For example, "I am a heart attack victim." This free, downloadable prayer worksheet takes you through the steps.

How Do I Walk in the Peace That the Prince of Peace Walked In?

Mark Virkler's picture

Bill Gothard teaches that anger is an inner alarm signal of rights I have not laid down, or if I did, I picked them back up again. I remember getting angry years ago when I was pastoring a church which was experiencing division. My reputation was being ruined by people gossiping and spreading untruths about me to people who had never even met me. The listeners would then take up a reproach against me, even though they had never connected even once with me. How unfair. I was ready to get angry.

Living in Rest Requires Living at Peace with Myself and Others

Mark Virkler's picture

I concluded that stress was the major cause of my heart attack, so I became diligent to enter God’s rest (Hebrews 4:11). Part of this rest involves a heart that is at peace with myself and others. The peace of God guards our hearts (Phil. 4:6-7). Being emotionally troubled over relationships does not result in peace or rest for one’s heart.

I know for many years of my life, judging ruled rather than mercy and peace. Micah 6:8 says I am to DO justly and LOVE mercy. I had those two flipped: I loved judging and only did mercy. After being critical, I would feel anger or contempt about the person or the situation. This is not peace. These negative emotions surely damaged my heart and contributed toward my heart attack.

Does Heart Surgery Cause the Heart to Pick Up a Spirit of Fear?

Mark Virkler's picture

A cardiac nurse emailed me. She was convinced from what she had seen over the years that afib after a heart attack was caused by fear. Hmmm. Interesting observation.

I know the heart carries memories and I have written about that here. I also know that Jesus can cleanse memories of trauma stored in my cells and discuss that here.

Download this “Inner Healing for an Organ – Prayer Worksheet and complete it (free and interactive), or you can do your journaling in your journaling notebook.

How Do I Come Back to God After I Have Committed a HUGE Sin?

Mark Virkler's picture

When we fail, we can beat ourselves up for several hours, days or months, or we can be cleansed instantly and return to peace and rest. Demons howl in laughter if I beat myself up, for I have removed myself from God’s presence, and stepped out of the Kingdom of peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17) and into the kingdom of demonic lies and accusations.
