After my heart surgery I prayed numerous times for healing of my heart. I used the prayer approach Inner Healing for an Organ. Every time I did this prayer exercise, I felt the healing power and presence of the Holy Spirit moving upon me. This was experienced as a manifestation of shaking which I believe to be my body's reaction to the Holy Spirit’s healing presence and power.
Are there consequences for disobeying the Lord's leading in our life? After reading this, you may want to ask, "Lord, is there an area in my life where I am not fully obeying You?"
In addition to healing prayer, great nutrition and exercise, you can restore a damaged organ in your body by removing any emotions which contributed to the organ's malfunction and any false identification you may have made with this infirmity by saying, "This is who I am." For example, "I am a heart attack victim." This free, downloadable prayer worksheet takes you through the steps.
A cardiac nurse emailed me. She was convinced from what she had seen over the years that afib after a heart attack was caused by fear. Hmmm. Interesting observation.
This story is in the form of an email dialogue I had with Pastor Erick from Uganda.
Pastor Erick – Mark, I need your advice. Two months ago, 213 students gave their lives to Jesus during school outreaches where I share daily messages about how to hear God’s voice. Part of this training is having them share what God has spoken to them. Two months ago, when 213 students joined the fellowship and gave their lives to Jesus, a certain girl aged 19 years also gave her life to Jesus. When she told me her father is a witchdoctor, I gave her a copy of Your Extraordinary Life and a Bible.

This is some feedback after praying through session 5 of “Prayers That Heal the Heart” yesterday morning as I prepared to head to work in New Zealand. The issue I was seeking freedom from was "striving," which is probably about the 20th issue God has brought me through since I first was taught under Mark Virkler in Kona, Hawaii January 2017 at Crossroads DTS.
I sure want to know if I am in captivity and experiencing covenant curses, rather than covenant blessings. So this quick review checklist can let me know (Deut. 28:1-68). And If I find covenant curses operating, then I will use the steps outlined in Brokenness Healed Through Words of Knowledge Training Article to help remove the covenant curses. Another prayer approach I can use if necessary would be Prayers That Heal the Heart.
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me. The LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted parts within me. He has sent me to bind up broken areas, to proclaim liberty to captive areas and freedom to parts within which are being held prisoner. Today is my day of release! (Isaiah 61:1, paraphrase)
Principles: Prayer is most effective when applied directly to the point in time at which the wound occurred and when the broken, captive part has direct encounters with Jesus.
