Heavenly Encounters: How God Healed a Broken Heart

Mark Virkler's picture

The following testimony of emotional healing is from Stuart. It is a powerful story that I know will be a great blessing to many. Thank you, Stuart, for sharing your heart journey with us.

I recently went through a time of profound healing and it is my hope that the following testimony will encourage others who have experienced deep woundings. My own wounding centered around witnessing the suffering and death of my mother from ALS.

How Did King David Live in the Continual Presence of the Lord?

Mark Virkler's picture

Did you know that King David visualized the Lord at his right hand all the time? I sure didn't. Not until Brad Jersek showed me Acts 2:25. David said of him, I saw the Lord before my face at all times, for he is at my right hand, so that I may not be moved” (Acts 2:25 BBE). “I have set the LORD always before me …” (Ps. 16:8 KJV). King David knew how to abide in the Lord’s presence (Ps. 91).

I Only Saw Blackness But Now I Can See!

Mark Virkler's picture

Q. I know vision is one of the four keys to hearing God's voice, but I just see blackness. What should I do?

A. There are actually 2 people in 100 who can't see anything on the screen inside their minds. When they try to imagine, they get nothing. It is now being suggested that this is a medical illness affecting 2.5% of the population which needs treatment by a doctor, if it is treatable at all.

I have polled congregations for years and found 2 in 100 say they can't see anything at all on the screen inside their minds. So, yes, my experience correlates with what the health profession is now claiming.

LIVE the Truth and THEN Move On...

Mark Virkler's picture

I heard a sermon on it. I watched a video about it. I memorized a verse about it. Why, I even memorized the correct answer and repeated it back on a test. So for sure I know it now, right?

Maybe not. I can memorize 1 Peter 2:17 which says to "honor all people", yet still be judging and scorning most I come in contact with. Would you say I've really learned that Scripture?

Dancing Together with Jesus in the Heavenlies

Mark Virkler's picture

Question I received in an email from one of our readers: My young daughter went home to be with Jesus three months ago. When receiving counseling prayer about this, God showed me a vision of her in heaven with Jesus. They were playing and laughing together and she told me she was happy and not sick anymore. This encounter has brought my husband and me tremendous peace and comfort, but someone told me that it wasn’t “safe”. I’m just wondering… is it okay?

Answer: During inner healing prayer times, we have been blessed to see Jesus give people glimpses of their loved ones in heaven and allow them to interact with them. This has provided powerful healing to the wounds in their hearts and changed their lives. The transformation is instantaneous and you can see their countenance change right before your eyes.

You are right that some folks may caution about this, because they may think it is "calling up the dead."  It isn't. There is a distinction. Let us share several examples of godly heavenly encounters and then we will follow these stories with a chart showing the distinctions between conversing with the dead and Jesus-initiated heavenly encounters.

Release Divine Creativity - King David Journaled Out the Design for Solomon's Temple!

Mark Virkler's picture

Did you know that you can receive creative architectural designs through divine revelation? King David did. Check it out:

"Then David gave to his son Solomon the plan of the porch of the temple, its buildings, its storehouses, its upper rooms, its inner rooms and the room for the mercy seat; and the plan of all that he had in mind, for the courts of the house of the LORD, and for all the surrounding rooms, for the storehouses of the house of God and for the storehouses of the dedicated things." (1 Chronicles 28:11-12)
