Create Memorials Commemorating God’s Victory

Mark Virkler's picture

God wants us to hold pictures in our minds of His supernatural victories in our lives.

When the Israelites crossed the Jordan on dry ground, they picked up stones from the dry river bed, and when they got to the far side of the Jordan they stacked them up into an altar as a memorial of the victory God had just won for them. Now whenever they passed this altar, their children could ask what it was for and they could recount God’s wonderful miracle to them. In this way God's supernatural provision would never be forgotten (Josh. 4).

BLOCKED from LIVING the Bible? Here Is the MISSING LINK You've Been Searching For!

Mark Virkler's picture

This missing link is not some newly discovered ape-man. Instead, it’s a disconnect. Do you feel there is a huge disconnect between the Bible-quoting traditionalists whose solid grounding in the Scripture looks as if their feet are trapped in cement, preventing them from soaring in the Spirit, and those who naturally feel and experience every spiritual manifestation but couldn't explain how to do it if their life depended on it?

Rivers of Living Water Flow Healing, Lifting and Nourishing Journaling by Mary Goebel

Mark Virkler's picture

If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. But this He spoke concerning the Spirit (Jn. 7:37-39).

This blessing (of having rivers of living water flowing from our bellies) flows as one simply believes on Christ. The belief opens up the flow. Just as we eat food and that food is “dispersed” through nutritious rivers of blood, when we “eat” and partake of Christ, rivers of light flow out of us to heal, lift, and nourish. This river of life also heals those around us. The source is Jesus Christ.
