Satan is a thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). Facing surgery next Monday for the diagnosis of bladder cancer…much fear, doubt, pictures of my death, the laughter of others who have spoken evil things about me flash through my mind. I recognize them all from satan, the accuser, liar and thief. I renounce and rebuke demons of self pity, fear, doubt and unbelief.
My first choice is always prayer and nutrition. I believe that if you give your body the right tools to work with, it has been designed by God to heal itself. The right tools include great nutrition. I also believe that, in a crisis situation, pharmaceuticals can be a good stopgap measure.
Lord, where would You like to meet with me today?
"Right where you are now. In your office. I am sitting on the chair right beside you. Turn the eyes of your heart now and see Me sitting, waiting to be with you this morning."
I see you, Lord. I then see you twirling around and around on the chair.
"Join Me, Mike."
I join in with the Lord as we are spinning around on our chairs.
Pray for one another - James 5:16
Since we are members of the body of Christ, we can serve one another by bearing their burdens, being hospitable to them and praying for them (See 36 One Another’s). The internet provides increased opportunity to fulfill God’s desire that we pray for one another. It is one way we can reach out in love and practice life in the spirit by using any of the 60 Spirit-led prayer approaches listed here.

Defining “heart” – Biblically speaking, “heart” is both the pump for your blood and the center of your soul or immaterial being. Just as your physical heart gives life to your physical body, your spiritual heart gives life to your spiritual body.
I was 100% convinced that if I ate right, exercised, and didn’t drink or smoke, I had zero chance of ever having a heart attack. And yet I had one. How could I have made such a cataclysmic mistake? As a teacher of truth I was upset, angry and aghast that I held such a mistruth or half-truth. When I experienced chest pains, my wife had the presence of mind to give me a dropperful of Dr. Schulze’s “Cayenne” in some water, so my pains subsided and I walked into the urgent care facility 10 minutes later.
Years ago Derek Prince introduced me to the concept of 20/20 vision. His revelation came from Acts 20:20 which speaks of meeting “publicly and house to house.” Derek’s point was you need BOTH kinds of meetings if you want to experience maximum Christian growth. The public gathering ought to provide more mature fivefold ministry, and the home group more intimate care, sharing and personal ministry. I believe that with the technological advancements available today, the home group category can include internet groups, as these provide interactive live streaming video and audio allowing us to see and hear one another share. Group members can give and receive personal prayer ministry, prophetic ministry, healing and deliverance in these internet groups.
