Read: Matthew 1:18-25 (the Message)
“Come, sit with Me, rest with Me in the living room. I am more interested in heart to heart than head to head.”
“See Me pouring you a nice, warm cup of hot chocolate, made with real milk; real chocolate and of course, with marshmallows on top because I am comfort.”
“Here, take this and re-read Matthew 1:18-25, act it out, speak it out, for it’s a real story.”
“Today, we get to talk about Joseph. There is so much meat and potatoes, a full meal for you to digest here.”
“Joseph was a dreamer, just like his ancestor Joseph who had a coat of many colours. He also was a humble, loving and forgiving man. He loved Mary even when he thought, incorrectly, that Mary had sinned against him. When he thought this, he was heartbroken but still compassionate towards her.”
“There is much about this story that is real and relevant to you right now. What I will highlight today is that the Holy Spirit, through an Angel and a dream gave prophetic wisdom and advice regarding the love relationship between Mary and Joseph.”
“The two loved each other, but a circumstance had caused division between the two lovebirds. Both were hurt and broken hearted because of this event. Mary had not sinned. Joseph was not trying to hurt Mary, he was reacting out of his hurt and his own understanding.”
“I know that the text only reveals a small summary, a snippet of the events as they happened. However, you know the story well enough to know that two hearts were hurting, two hearts were broken.”
“This is a love story, of how two broken hearts, through the love of the Father, are able to be reconciled and come back together.”
“The lesson I am sharing with you is about love, destiny and reconciliation.”
“Through supernatural dreams and visions, I gave Joseph understanding and full revelation of a stressful situation. Using vision and dreams, and valuing dreams and visions; I spoke to him through an angel in such a way that it bypassed his head and went straight into his heart. This shows you that dreams- and the interpretations of a dream were keys to the fulfillment of prophecy and of salvation.”
“Understanding the dream was a key to two soul mates coming together. Yes, I spoke to Joseph and it was Joseph’s decision to love Mary, and My decision to bring the two together. I am involved with love stories.”
“I write them, and I bring people together who invite Me to be their Matchmaker. I helped Joseph and confirmed the identity of who should be his wife. I spoke to the other person who did not know or understand the full revelation of My dreams and plans.”
“As you read the fullness of the Nativity story, meditating on its fullness, new, rich truths will be deposited in your heart.”
