How to guarantee you will receive the newsletter each month

To guarantee that you will receive email newsletters from Communion With God Ministries, you will need to make sure your SPAM filter knows that you want to receive our mailings, and doesn't discard them thinking they are junk mail.

What is a whitelist?

A whitelist is a list of addresses that are "Trusted" to send you email. Any messages coming from an email address that is on your whitelist will be delivered to your email inbox, bypassing the SPAM filter, which may normally classify the message as SPAM. Whitelists may also be called "Filters," "Custom Filters," "Trusted Addresses," "Trusted Senders," "Safe List," etc. For convenience sake, we will refer to them all by the name of "whitelist."

How do I whitelist Communion With God?

If you have any kind of SPAM filtering software installed on your computer, such as Norton Internet Security or Microsoft Outlook 2003, you should consult the "Help" file to determine exactly how to whitelist an address. If you do not know of any SPAM filtering software installed on your computer, you should look at the help section of your email provider's website, to find out how to whitelist an address in their SPAM filter. If you receive your email directly from your internet service provider, and not from a third-party free email service like Hotmail or Yahoo!, you should be able to find information on the website of your internet service provider, or you can call their technical support number and ask for assistance.

Once you find instructions, you will want to add cwg@cwgministries.org to your whitelist.

Step-by-step Instructions

If you use Hotmail or Yahoo! Mail, you can follow the directions below. If you don't use either of these services, you can find specific instructions for many other email providers at about.com and notbadmail.com.

Hotmail

To whitelist an address in Hotmail, click on Options (in the upper right side of the screen), then Mail (on the left side of the screen), then Junk E-Mail Protection, then Safe List. Type cwgministries.org in the box and click Add.

Yahoo! Mail

Click on Options, Filters, Add, Filter Name: (type a name for the filter, such as CWG Mailing List), "If all of the following rules are true:" "From header contains" (type cwg@cwgministries.org ), "Then..." "Move the message to:" "Inbox." Click "Add Filter" and the mail filter is set up.

Below is a picture of what the screen should look like.
