You can share your journaling, how you obeyed what God spoke to you, and the resulting healing, restoration, creativity and blessing your obedience to His spoken word brought to your life. At Koinonia Network, you will find others who are passionate for spiritual intimacy, and you will build friendships which may last a lifetime. Plus you can participate in a small group and coach one another to maturity in a specific area which you are pursuing.

Koinonia Network is created as an alternative to MySpace and Facebook. It is for all Christians who profess to love, serve and obey Christ and hunger to walk in intimacy with the Holy Spirit. The reason this is a valuable tool to Christians is that MySpace contains questionable, inappropriate and unacceptable content which is offensive to those who fervently embrace Christian values. Koinonia Network will be monitored closely and it will contain only Christ-honoring content. And while Facebook offers a much less offensive environment than MySpace, wouldnt you rather know that everyone you meet shares your passionate love for the Holy Spirit? Thats what you get at Koinonia Network!

Visit Koinonia Network, look around, read what is there, and enjoy the benefits. When you are ready to post something, you will be prompted to sign up as a member. As a member you will have your own free page which you can customize with blogs, photos and videos. This helps us get to know one another and promotes Christian fellowship among the members of Koinonia Network.

In addition to sharing your story and your journaling in your blogs, we also have a discussion group entitled My Story (God's Voice and Vision in My Life). And we have a discussion category on Two-Way Journaling where you can post your conversations with God. In this section you will find a sample of Mark Virklers two-way journaling, as well as some from Karen King and others. We trust many of you will add your own two-way journaling so all can be blessed by the words of the Lord (Jn. 6:63).

Koinonia Network is extremely easy to use (even I Mark Virkler can use it!). You will be amazed at its simplicity. My son and daughter-in-law (Josh and Charla), have spent time with Facebook and other social networks, and they both tell me this is far easier than anything they have ever used before. Ning, the software base of this social network, has one million websites using this system.

I want to extend special appreciation to Vince Rizzo, (Director of Ames International School of Ministry and President of Ames Christian University), who has been working in cooperation with us to set up Koinonia Network. This would not have happened without his expert advice and guidance. Thank you, Vince!

To make it even easier, we have created several help menus for you to draw from. We have a Getting Started tab, a Help tab, and I created a set of seven short training videos showing you how to use each tab and section on Koinonia Network.

In addition to you starting discussion topics which are of interest to you, we have created some initial discussion topics which you can jump into and participate in. These include: A chance to introduce yourself (a good place to begin building friendships), Prayer Needs, Christian Dream Interpretation, and a topic my son Joshua and I have been working on for two years, Kingdom Investing.

These discussion threads are places where you can share what you know and learn from others. It is a place to mentor and to be mentored. Our goal is to spur divine creativity and spiritual friendships. Many have shared with us that they hunger for other spiritual friends to share their journaling with and to grow with. Well, Koinonia Network fulfills this need!

And then there are Groups which you can join to participate in discussions with people of similar interests. You can start your own group, or you can join a group already functioning. Some of the groups we currently have established are: Healing Room, Scrapbooking and Photography, Christian Leadership University Students, Lamad Prayer Counselors Network, Mission to Postmodern Families, and more.

So if you have an area you want to explore together with others, you can create a group with a title indicating the topic you want to explore and others can come and join you. You can fellowship and grow together with like-minded people from all over the world. You can create a group on fly fishing or basket weaving, or Christians Invading Politics or whatever God has placed on your heart. We are expecting to see hundreds of interest groups formed!!

You can create open or closed membership groups. A closed group means that you must give permission before anyone can join and/or view the activities taking place within the group. For example, Christian Leadership University has created closed workshop groups for its students who are taking the Course of the Month.

Blogs are where you can share stories and things of interest to you which you feel would be a blessing to others also. Here is one of Mark Virklers blogs on How to Write a Lamad Style Book. Blogs may be as simple as typing up (or copying) an article or story. Come and share things that interest you. Bless others by sharing the passions and gifts within your own heart!

So no matter where you live, you can meet with Spirit-filled Christians all around the world who have similar passions. You can fellowship together and grow in friendship and the anointing of the Lord Jesus Christ in the areas of your common interests!

A View of My Heavenly Home from Michael Holdens journal
I saw a large living room about thirty feet across with a highly polished marble floor. The only visible piece of furniture was a heavy, polished marble coffee table. I was looking at the room from the back and at a height of about ten feet. In the wall in front of me was a large opening which could have had French doors, but I did not see them as the doorway was open and gave out onto a wide flagstone paved terrace with a curved stone balustrade. To my right I sensed the presence of Father God sitting on something high, if a throne, not a large one.

I recall thinking that it was odd that God would have a house, no matter if large, but as I could see the view beyond the terrace, perhaps this was His mountain retreat. The house was at the head of a valley and I could see mountain slopes covered with evergreen trees on both sides. Surely, I thought, God would be in His throne room surrounded by millions of people, the angelic host and so on. What's He doing here?

Then I saw a six or seven year old boy running around the room exploring, obviously excited at his first visit to the house and quite content to be in the presence of the Father. I sensed the Father looking on with loving acceptance. As I continued to look I realized that the boy was me. Then the boy was gone and I saw a one year old baby pulling himself up by the coffee table and losing balance as babies do and sitting down with a thump. The Father was amused and delighted with the antics of the toddler who I realized was me also.

Although I was an observer of the scene it did not seem strange to see myself and I spoke to the Father. What a beautiful house You have, Father. (Unspoken was the thought that Gods throne room should be in a huge palace with room for millions and I dont understand why He would be in this house.) The Father replied with a laugh; No, Michael, this is not My house, it is the home I have prepared for you. I was completely taken by surprise and overwhelmed by Gods remarks.

Michael, you are My child despite your years, like a young child beginning to grow into a knowledge and love of Me. How precious you are to Me, child. I showed you a picture of yourself as a four or five year old running around exploring the living room in your heavenly mansion.

The Lord continued: That child was unrestrained in My presence, not overawed, but trusting, loving and accepting My presence. It was natural for that child to expect Me to be there. In that childs mind I belonged fully. You were aware that I was on a throne, but you could not see it, because it was the throne of your heart. The child was completely secure, without any feeling of condemnation or rejection and expected Me to be there for him. That is what I want you to learn.

You were surprised when you asked about the mansion. No, My child, it was not My house. Have I not just told you that I am on the throne of your heart? The mansion was made for you in all its splendor, with the mountain setting; custom made with My own hands for your enjoyment. You see, I shall enjoy it also, because I shall experience the wonder, joy, delight and amazement of a childs heart.

I do have a different throne and that is not in your house, it is in My throne room which you shall see in due course. There, I am reigning in splendor over all, but in your heart and the hearts of all believers, there I am loving, caring, giving to each of My children.
