Two-way Journaling – Mike Bastien “Father, it has been a while since I have journaled… no excuses… I have wandered and have not been faithful in spending time with You lately. I present myself before You… what do You want to say?” Reply: “Mike, you are mine. Forever. Though you do not remain faithful, I will always remain faithful. I will always remain true to my covenant and my commitment to you and to my people. That will never change. “Yet, it does not benefit our relationship and intimacy when you allow yourself to drift away. It is in my presence where change takes place, it is in my presence where you will see correctly, where life’s experiences and happenings will come into proper perspective. “When there is a choosing to live elsewhere, other than my presence, there will be an inaccurate seeing and understanding. Remember David my servant, he said until I went into your sanctuary… then I understood… The longer you live in my presence, the more you will begin to see and to be able to see as I see and to properly assess life and the circumstances and experiences of life. “Life’s experiences can often cause one to come to an improper conclusion about me, about truth and about my word. When there is not a seeing, or a filtering of life through my eyes, you will come to a wrong understanding and you will draw from your own understanding and wisdom (the knowledge of the tree of good and evil). It is either the tree of life or the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that you will be partaking of. “In my word, it says to abide in me and I in you. To dwell in me, in my presence, to abide, to stay, to continue, and to remain fixed in my presence. It is a state of heart that I have called you and each one of my children to live in. It is there that there will be eternal fruit. It is there that your fruit will remain. It is there that there will be an evidence of my touch upon your life that will outflow to others. Many of my children want the quick touch and at times it is necessary, but not at the expense of not abiding and living in my presence. “You are remembering the book you read years ago in Bible school, ‘Practicing the Presence of God’ by Brother Lawrence and that is exactly what it is. You must learn to practice my presence, to over and over and over focus your attention on me and to cause your heart to dwell in me. It takes practice; it takes time to learn my ways until it will automatically become part of your life. “Come, sit at my feet, and learn of me. This is the great call and the cry of my heart for each of my children and for you. Come, sit, abide and continue in me.” Eight Journals Full – by Sofia “Just three days ago I had a dream in which the Lord said, ‘Review your dreams of the last year.’ So, I have been reviewing them. Well, I just realized that I’m in my 4th ‘notebook’ of dreams, and in my 4th notebook of two-way journaling. I use big notebooks (most with 150 sheets in them and one of them has 300 sheets). So in 2 ½ years I have – WOW – 8 big notebooks of lots of love, information, guidance, correction, affirmation, assurance, pictures and drawings (I draw what the Lord ministers to me). “Mark, THANK YOU SO MUCH…. Communion with God and Interpretation of Dreams were two great things in the School of Ministry, but at that time I didn’t know I was going to be so blessed by them, by you, by your effort, your testimony and your obedience. Thank you for the price you have paid, because I’m sure you have had to confront battles and opposition… your obedience has not been in vain. It’s open to all – those who have taken one or more seminars, as well as those just starting out. We have just over 100 people signed up right now, but it’s still relatively quiet, so you should be able to get familiar with the board without feeling too overwhelmed. We’re hoping to have people continue to build each other up. Come share a (short) dream you had that you’d like help interpreting, or maybe try your hand at using the principles taught in Hear God Through Your Dreams. Read what the Holy Spirit has spoken to others or share your own journaling to be an encouragement to your brothers and sisters in the Lord.
