Many have wondered how close Christian Leadership University
is to New York City, and if we have had any losses from the terrible tragedy
there. We are 8 hours away from NYC so we have not had personnel affected.
We are encouraging everyone to continue in ongoing prayers for the bereaved
families and for wisdom, anointing, authority, leadership and protection for
President Bush and his cabinet members as well as the congress. Also pray
for terrorism to be contained and eliminated without further loss of innocent
life, or further terrorist attacks.
God is telling me that He is still on the throne, and that we should give
ourselves to that which He has called us to do.
Should governments go to war to defend their citizens?
The Bible has different rules that apply to different
jurisdictions. For the individual, he is to turn the other cheek.
For a government, they are to bear the sword as a minister of God who avenges
evil. It is important that we not mix up the rules for the individual with
the rules for governments.
"For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you
want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from
the same; for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is
evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a
minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices
evil." Romans 13:3-4 NASU
A sample of journaling from a CLU student
I have just had a CLU student write the following as part of his final paper for
the Communion With God course. With his permission, I share it with you.
Since I am in a period of reflection regarding my professional activities, I
asked the Lord about a job. Here is what I have received:
"My son, you know that I love you very much and that I want the best for
you. I want you to know that I want to take care of you and place you where you
belong. I want to give you the job and work you long for and where you will find
satisfaction. I am the Lord your God and I love you very much. I am not
concerned by the things of this world or how the world looks at a job. I want
the best job for you and I will give you the job you require. You will know when
it is time to get your job for I will tell you and I will lead you in the path
you should go. I am God. I take care of tomorrow. I know what you are in need of
and I will provide above your own expectations. Just trust in the Lord your God
and I will take care of you. I love you, My son."
When I finished the course on Communion With God I asked the Lord what I should
do now. Here is what I received:
"My son, do not worry about tomorrow, for I am the Master of tomorrow. I am
the Master of the whole universe. I have come to walk with you day-by-day,
hour-by-hour. I want us to walk together, to talk to each other, to
consult each other and abide in My flow that I have prepared for you and for My
people. My divine flow is not comparable to the flow, timing and expectations of
the world as it is a flow of life, of love, of joy, of compassion and of
abundance. There is no death and no curses in My flow. Learn to abide in My flow
and to continue in it and do not return to the manners and the principles of
this world. I am taking you into My river where living waters abound and where
your soul will find joy, peace and abundance. You have come into My presence,
you have tasted the promises of My kingdom, now is the hour to continue to abide
in My presence, to detach yourself from the principles of this world and to
trust in My overflowing abundance for you. Others will come to join you in these
waters for I am
This morning, I asked the Lord "What next?" This is what He said:
"My son, I do not want you to struggle anymore. I want you to abide in My
divine flow for you. I am with you. I will not leave you alone. You will now
enter into a new season of My love and compassion and you will be able to walk
in My love and to share with others what you have learned. You will walk in
accordance to My voice and you will teach others about hearing My voice. The
Lord your God will use you to bring divine revelations and divine compassion to
My people and you will know how to abide in My flow. You will know when to go
and when not to go. You will know what to show and what not to show. You will be
able to discern the intents of the hearts of My people and you will be able to
use wisdom and compassion in your relationships with others. I am God and I am
taking you into a new season of love and compassion. You will walk forth and you
will not stumble, you will walk with the Lord your God and know that it is He
that is bringing about all these provisions in your life. You will start to walk
in

take it now. We all need to hear God's voice during the difficult times
ahead.
