Lord, how exactly do I discern truth from personal opinion of man? In
particular, let's address the "word of faith" movement and theology as
taught by Kenneth Hagin and others (e.g., Kenneth Copeland). Can I speak
words into life?
Mike, My word is life. When you speak forth My word it becomes life.
You must learn to let My word bubble up within (Rhema, remember?).
Kenneth Hagin ate My words for lunch. He chewed on them. He meditated on
them. He became them. Yes, at that point he could speak them into
life for himself and others. But you have to understand Kenneth Hagin
didn't do what he did out of pride and self. He became the living word.
His faith healed him and many others. There was no wavering with him. You
can get there too, Mike. Practice faith by doing what you know you're
supposed to do when you're supposed to do it. This is faith. Trust
Me to be there. The Word becomes life when you obey it, live in it, walk
in it. The blessings, fruits, miracles, all the supernatural comes after
this process. Trust Me. There's a whole new dimension of life you have yet
to experience. You're on the right track. You've come a long way in
letting Me in your life. Please know that I am here with you always, just
for you. I want you to live as full a life as you desire, and it's there
for you. Mike, you haven't had anyone to walk in front and cut a path for
you.
Yes, Lord. Thank You for Your word to me this morning. I'm sorry for not living
in Your word but only using it as an "add-on " or appendage rather
than allowing it to become my core being. Please help me take the
necessary steps toward being Your word. Thank You. I love You.

Prayers That Heal the Heart helps this pastor develop in the healing
ministry:
When you last came to our church you taught on Prayers That Heal the Heart, and
I followed it up with your course. In our School of the Spirit we continue
to meet every other week for further teaching on inner healing and deliverance.
I also teach this course in another church nearby. The course is going
well. As a result of your book, and the ministry and time you invested in
our church and in me, I have been able to systematically approach this whole
topic and flow in the anointing to heal, deliver and equip others. It's
taking time, but it's actually working. Recently, a couple of people were
healed of life-controlling illness or injuries as we prayed through the heart
issues, cast out the demons and released the healing anointing. The
healings came quickly and easily when previously months or years of praying had
done little.

Am I Being Deceived? helps this church in Kenya:
The President of Christian Leadership University: First and foremost allow me to
thank you for sending me the book titled "AM I BEING DECEIVED?" The
book has brought light to my life and to the church. The church has seen
Christianity in a new refreshing way. The church has been totally transformed
and as you mentioned on the cover on the back, we have now gotten rid of the
shackles that were holding us back from true worship. Most members thought they
knew and never wanted to be taught, but now what I lack is time. God dealt with
me first, and as their pastor I repented several times in tears and now it's
them repenting as I teach. This is wonderful. We have covered only three
chapters of the book and people are really transformed and are now willing to
learn and even share openly that they were deceived. Now we have realized what
caused division in the church earlier. There were those of the Spirit without
the Bible and those of the Bible without the Spirit. I am writing this note to
you to inform you that

I continue to do seminars, enroll university students, write books, and teach
Communion With God in my local church during the Wednesday evening service.
Perhaps your pastor would agree to your teaching the 12-week Communion With God
course in your church. We need you to help us spread the word. The church needs
to be hearing God's voice. With each person who begins hearing the voice of God,
the world will experience a greater transformation of the power of the Spirit of
Christ. So pray about what God may have you do. I would love to have you
teaching alongside me. We need thousands of teachers of the Communion With
God book. Would you be one?
I had a unique experience last week in Canada. I participated in a TV talk
show with a panel of representatives from various religions, hosted by a man who
was of the Baha'i faith. There was a Rabbi, a Muslim, a liberal Christian
activist, and myself. We had two very interesting 30-minute segments. No
fighting. Just honest hearts sharing their search for truth and spiritual
reality. I was invited back, so that is a good sign. They must have
liked what they heard. Of course, I emphasized the need to hear and live
out of God's voice. It was very well received.
