2004 – God's Voice Worldwide – From Dr. Mark Virkler Author
of Communion With God and President of Christian Leadership University Vision: To Saturate the World with
Communion With God
Covenant
blessings in your life come from obeying the VOICE of God–
Dr. Gary Greig Deuteronomy
28:1-2 does indeed literally say in the Hebrew, “If you indeed hear/listen
to the voice of the Lord (Heb. shamoa tishma' beqol Yahweh)...(28:2)...if
you hear/listen to the voice of the Lord (Heb. ki tishma' beqol Yahweh)....”
The “you” is singular in Hebrew referring to each individual among God's
people. The Hebrew phrase (and the phrase in Aramaic and other Semitic
languages) “hear the voice of...” means to “listen obediently,” or to
“hearken” (KJV's translation), or to “heed,” or to “obey” (NASB, NIV
translations), and I'm convinced this is the meaning of Jesus' words in John
10:27, “My sheep hear My voice....” (Jesus was speaking Aramaic, the common
language among first century Jews in the land of Israel, when He spoke those
words.) Jesus is not just talking about simply the ability to hear His voice—Balaam
and other false prophets could hear God's voice—but He is talking about hearing
and obeying His voice. So, the
promises of Deuteronomy 28:1-14 are based on a believer's ability to hear
and also their willingness to obey the Lord's voice.

Groups Provide a Place for Healing to Occur
“I wanted to share a praise report. The wife of a student from the Prayers
That Heal the Heart class contacted me. She wanted to thank me for teaching
the class. She and her husband have been on a downward spiral for several
years. They have not communicated well, had not worn their wedding rings, and
expected to part ways. They have two children which she said barely gave them
reason enough to hold together. The husband was so tormented by his past that he
no longer responded without anger and bitterness. The wife stated he had not
smiled in 11 years, she has been praying through those years for God
to move in their relationship.
“She said her husband has truly been transformed. She actually heard him
laugh and sees many smiles now. There was an argument; he apologized and
reconciled in a short period of time. I saw this individual in church yesterday.
He was smiling, laughing and praising the Lord with joy. He sat among the
congregation instead of along the wall. His whole countenance has changed!
Praise God. I sought him out and he gave me a hug and thanked me. He
is open to others and now interceding for those around him. My goal in
teaching has been to empower individuals to seek God for transformation,
and not just give information. I am excited with all God is doing in the life of
this family. Thank you again for this wonderful course, as you know it is truly
anointed!”
Jesus Heals Anxiety!
“Dear Jesus, why am I so anxious?”
“You have never been in a place before that you didn't know where you are
going next. In Missouri, everything was safe and you did dwell there in
great peace except for Reggie's instability. In Wellington, you were
safe and focused except for David's instability. It is easier to keep your eyes
on Me when things aren't in turmoil. I am teaching you how to keep your
eyes on Me, even when nothing is stable.
“Safety really is in Me, not in this world, or possessions or bank
accounts. I really do love you and care about what you are going
through. Your comfort has always been in Me and it seems that the castle is
crumbling, but it isn't a real castle. It is just a facade. You will
see. There is something hidden deep inside. There are treasures and jewels
that you have not dug into yet. Relax in Me. It is hard for you to be
on vacation. What should you be doing anyway? Isn't resting in Me
important? Being free of care or worry, isn't that important? Haven't
I always provided for you, food, lodging........Can you believe that I am
preparing something for you, especially made for you? Isn't it My joy to
give you the kingdom? I am preparing behind the scenes. Crawl up in My
lap. Come here.”
“Yes, Abba.”
Jesus Provides Freedom and Hope
“Dearest Jesus, I love You. Come closer. What do You want to say?”
“Your ministry is not over. I have much in store for you. There
always is a breaking, letting go, and a releasing before new things can take
place. Rest in Me. I know the storm rages. Stay close to Me and let
your ear rest on My chest. I do know what's best. Be comfortable with not
knowing. Let go. It is OK not to know about tomorrow. Hippie Della is
OK. She was very loved and taken care of by Me. She felt secure and
had a child's heart. Embrace her. She is not gone. That is who
you really are. Free like the spirit running with the wind. Draw close to
Me. Open your soul's eyes. You will see Me waiting there for you. I
have plans for your life. Rest in Me.”
“Thank You, Jesus.”
Journaling
from Behind Prison Walls–
Namibia, Africa
“Our counseling ministry, born as a result of your teaching, is doing great.
We have seen people freed from homosexual sins, demonic attack, sleepless
nights, depression, and high blood pressure.”
Following is one of the journaling assignments from this student: “Lord, what
would You like to speak to me concerning the way I process anger?”
“I love you with unfailing love. Do not allow the sun to go down while you
are still angry. Never allow the enemy to step inside you. I am glad that you
are growing faster in the way you handle your anger, by quickly turning to Me to
deal with it. Continue to practice My presence all the time so that you can flow
in My love and peace.”

Sense Your Spirit – Revised
We have just completed updating, revising and re-typesetting the book Sense
Your Spirit. Formerly titled Abiding in Christ Part II,
the purpose of this text is that you come away with a vocabulary to describe
inner spirit sensations, and an awareness of spirit sensations within yourself.
If Jesus was aware of s(S)pirit sensations within Him, and lived constantly out
of them, then we must learn to do the same. The foundation of this book is the
1200 verses in the Bible which mention "heart" or "spirit."
If you own an older copy of either Abiding in Christ Part II
or Sense Your Spirit, you may want to consider
ordering a copy of this beautifully-redesigned update to one of Mark's
foundational works.
Missionaries
in Uganda Teach Communion With God–
Winette Hubregtse
“We are two Dutch ladies working as missionaries in Uganda. About two
years ago we met up here while at that moment both being involved in different
ministries. My colleague Ingrid Wilts was very much blessed by attending
the Leaders' School of Ministry at TACF
in 2001 and she went back last year to do the Father Heart School (Jan. 2003),
which had a great impact in her life.
“I myself did the Leaders' School from TACF last year which brought an
enormous change in my life. Your material on Communion
With God has blessed us very much and has opened our eyes in many
ways! God gave us both the vision to start a retreat centre here in Uganda and
our desire is to minister the Father Heart to the many wounded Christians here
in this country and beyond. So many people are wounded by wars, AIDS, and tribal
problems.
“We are still in the process of registering as an NGO and networking but God
is already bringing people in who are desperate for Him and we see Him move
mightily in setting people free and bringing healing. Among these people are
also many missionaries and so we find ourselves doing a lot of Member Care. We
just want to officially let you know that we are using your concept on CWG
teaching at our centre and would like to ask permission for that. We see many
lives touched by it and people who would in the past fast and pray for weeks to
get an answer receive it in minutes now. It is great to see their excitement!
“We organize CWG weekends and we often give a day teaching on it when we are
asked to facilitate retreats for leaders and ministry workers. A few weeks ago
we were in Bombo, a small village in Uganda. After the first workshop on CWG, I
gave these church leaders a question to ask God. One lady fell on the
floor, cried her eyes out and we saw her a little later being delivered of
demonic oppression, just because she started to hear God's voice! We only stood
there and watched it happen... Ministry is fun!”
