To get an overview of what is happening, you can read an excellent MSNBC Article about the Florida Outpouring. And if you click on the first hyperlink in that article, it will take you to the main website of the keynote speaker, Todd Bentley. At this website you can watch live nightly streaming video of the revival. Many have been healed as they have watched from their own homes. I know Todd Bentley personally, having ministered with him at Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship. He is a good man, full of integrity and seeking after God intensely. He has written an endorsement for a book I have written, and the book was actually inspired by Todd himself. I heard Todd share of how he spent months alone with his Bible and the Holy Spirit. He would look up all the verses in the Bible on the Holy Spirit and pray over them, asking for the Holy Spirit to grant him revelation concerning the verses, and concerning how the Holy Spirit would work in his life in the way the verse was describing. So in my book Intimacy with the Holy Spirit I have listed hundreds of verses about the Holy Spirit, encouraging people to pray and journal about these verses, seeking divine revelation concerning all the marvelous ways the Holy Spirit can be experienced in your life. Some of the pastors from Love Joy Gospel Church, our home church here in Buffalo, have gone to Lakeland in the last few months and come back with some incredible personal healings which are described on the churchs website at www.lovejoy.org. Click on Revival News Reports and scroll through a couple pages of amazing testimonies to find a video of our pastors wife, Janet Zack, being healed of Multiple Sclerosis. Plus, in the last several weeks, the revival has broken out in our church and ongoing miraculous healings continue to occur.
Below are a couple of emails I received in the last two weeks Bill Dupley, a Certified Communion With God Facilitator, was touched by the effects of the Lakeland revival and got into an extended email dialogue with me about vision and healing this last month. I have posted the entire 7-page back and forth dialogue and the journaling we both did about the issues (download here -- this is a Microsoft Word document that will either open directly in Word, or you will need to download and save it to your computer and then open it). There have been a number of criticisms against this revival, so one of my spiritual advisors, Dr. Gary Greig, has written a theological defense of the Lakeland revival which is available on our website for free downloading. This is a scholarly dissertation, and is designed for pastors who need assistance in theologically understanding why what we are seeing is good, and of God, and is biblical. So please download it and pass it around as widely as you can. Also, if you find yourself having trouble accepting the move of God happening in Florida because the vessel God has chosen to use has tattooed skin, please prayerfully consider the teaching on this website.
John Wesley used to pray in great earnestness, O God, send us a revival without fanaticism if You can, but if not, in any case send us a revival. Are you willing to pray that prayer and mean it?
Todd surely does not come complete with a 3-piece suit. He was saved out of a drug culture and his wineskin is different than many in the past. However, Jesus speaks clearly about the need for new wineskins. Folks, this revival is of God. Spread the good news. Jesus is being glorified and souls are being saved, healed and delivered.

Spread the Revival!
Testimony from a missionary who was transformed by watching the How to Hear Gods Voice DVD series EIGHT times and then journaled for 90+ days straight! I was a pastor in the States for 8 years before coming to the field. I was a left-brained teacher who had been introduced to the Holy Spirit the long way and who also had asked everyone, How to sense your spirit? I received the same answers you did! And it left me wanting. I believe Father allowed the journey in East Asia to lead us to a place of desperation which was easier to accomplish outside our culture since we had no props to depend on. When I found a copy of Communion With God on a book table in [an Asian country], I read the back cover and resonated with what was being said and bought it along with Pattis book on the same subject. I read them both probably with my mouth open the whole time. I had finally found someone who spoke my language. It was so refreshing to have a guide that was gifted as a teacher to lead me into discovering how to locate the Spirit and know His voice. I ordered the DVD series and watched it 8 times! I began to journal each day. I had never journaled more than 3 consecutive days in my life. I believed Father for one page per day as I began. When I reached the 90th consecutive day of journaling I was greatly encouraged and in awe at how the eyes and ears of my heart had been opened and I could now tune to the flow of His Spirit daily..words are inadequate to express the joy.
The greater joy has been in training my disciples to hear His voice at the beginning of their spiritual journey with no need to struggle through the desert searching for how to hear His voice. Your work and faithfulness is being multiplied here in East Asia among 1.4 billion people. I join you in your vision to see this message communicated throughout the earth.
