This course explores the thesis that globalization may be God’s way of bringing business people – perhaps the largest and most underutilized segment of the Church – back into missions. Many examples of businesses whose purposes include demonstrating and proclaiming the love of Christ to a hurting world are examined. And students seek the Lord for their role in this revolution in missions and evangelism.

An artist becomes anchored in divine vision
“I took the Communion with God weekend course last year and wanted you to know what an ‘eye’ and ‘ear’ opener it was for me. The Lord has blessed you with a revelation that has blessed the whole body. Before ‘communion’, I could see, but didn’t know I was seeing or how to ‘harness’ seeing or hearing. Since I am an artist, I ‘see’ in the Spirit all the time, but it just didn’t connect, and everything was random and disconnected.

“After the course, I knew what I was seeing and hearing, where it was coming from, and it became anchored. I am able to go into heavenly places with the Lord at any time now. I have applied my new ‘eyes’ to my work and the Lord has given me some very anointed pictures to paint.

“I am in transition (as I think most of the body of Christ is…) and am expecting the Lord to allow me to use the gift He has given me to paint pictures that will speak to the body prophetically, evangelize and bring healing. Thank you for hearing the Lord and teaching from that, I have been greatly blessed by it.”

A pastor begins using the gift of “word of knowledge” in the workplace
I’m going out of town tomorrow for the Texas District Theological Convocation, where I am a presenter each day and so I went to get a haircut this morning at Great Clips in the Fairmont Mall near my house.

I was the first customer of the day. I sat down in the chair and the girl began to cut my hair. So I thought about trying the prophetic evangelism stuff. So I said, “Jesus, what do You want to tell me about this lady to help her out today?”

After a few minutes I had “Maria,” “dreams,” and “dancer.” After my haircut and paying out I said to her, “Maria, when you were cutting my hair the thought ‘dancer’ came to me. Did you have a dream of being a dancer but stuff happened in your life and now you’re cutting hair?”

Her eyes got big, she started laughing, the wall came down and she told me her life story about wanting to be a dancer but getting pregnant at 15 and on and on through two failed marriages, etc. etc.

I was just blown away and it rattled me so that I didn’t do a real good job of tying it all together into a four-star encouraging word for her, but it verified that the Lord will speak to you if you have the courage to go for it.

“Lord, what a fantastic morning! I went to the Great Clips for a haircut, asked You for words of encouragement for my stylist and it went just like clockwork! It really blew me away and I can’t stop sharing this story. Thank You for that opportunity.”

“Steve, you should have seen the expression of YOUR face when Maria acknowledged the words you gave her. You think SHE looked surprised?! You were really a picture worth a thousand words!

“I will be doing this type of thing for you more and more as you gain confidence. I will stretch you and deepen you and the good news is that you will not break! I have given you a heart that yearns for excitement and mystery. That’s the soul of the apostolate. The life of faith is not supposed to be dull, boring, bland. You are beginning to sense that as well.

“I love you even though you think I am disappointed that you didn’t knock the ball out of the park this morning. At least you made contact and put the ball into play. You advanced the runner—in this case you moved Maria one step closer to come home to Me. That’s all that I had for you in that encounter.

“Trust Me, I am all smiles at the faith and love you have shown today. Even as little as you did and the awkward way you did it I can use to make a powerful impact.”

A Dream That Precipitates Physical Healing
For many months, I have struggled with being tired, weary, worn, and challenged with sinus infection, allergies, sore throat, coughing and sneezing. Toward the end of each day I seem to wear down quickly, becoming more tired as the week progresses, only to spend the weekend catching up.

Early in January and March I had a tooth extracted because of infection. Nothing much changed in my health. I had no pains or discomfort to speak of.

In May, I made an appointment for a physical and blood work and also a dental appointment for cleaning, x-ray and possible filling. The day prior to my doctor’s appointment I acquired a very sore throat and within hours could barely swallow any liquids.

The Lord directed me to alternate between infra-red saunas and coffee enemas to detoxify my body every few hours. By morning I felt much improved, however very tired. I stayed home and rested and continued with the saunas and detoxing. By the following day, Thursday, when I went to the doctor I was feeling better, however still had a very sore throat.

We talked about my teeth and that early on I had read that I should have any teeth that are dead with root canals, mercury filled (even under the caps or crowns), and/or infected removed. I had not followed that suggestion and the doctor agreed that was rather an aggressive decision. The doctor checked for “strep”. I was negative so he sent me home to rest allowing the virus to work its way out of my system. I went to work on Friday, feeling better, however by evening my throat was very sore and my sinuses were filled. I rested all weekend.

Monday morning, my blood work had returned and the doctor was very concerned as all the readings were very elevated. My body was working very hard to cleanse itself of infection, etc. The reading is to be less than 300, mine was at 1769. He was very concerned that with the heightened numbers of the blood lab report, that cancer was moving throughout my body. Further tests were recommended. I was disappointed and yes, in shock. I believed that God had healed.

Monday afternoon, I went for my dental appointment to have my teeth cleaned, x-rayed, and a possible filling. During the consultation the dentist informed me that I had 4 dead teeth, one upper each side, one lower each side. As long as they were not causing any pain, I could wait until they broke or possibly become infected and then have them removed. There did not seem to be any hurry as I was not experiencing any pain or challenges with my teeth. I chose to postpone the filling and any further treatment.

Monday night, I had a dream. I woke up with the Lord telling me to have the teeth extracted. I was really fighting against losing my teeth. I received and believed what the Lord was speaking, however, I asked Him to again reaffirm the decision. I fell back to sleep. I woke again with another dream telling me to extract my teeth. I again received and believed that the Lord was speaking to me. I was fighting so hard to keep my teeth and had believed that the Lord was going to heal my teeth as He would heal the cancer.

I again assured the Lord that I believed and received His word, however I needed affirmation. I fell asleep telling Him how much I loved Him. I awoke for the third time, hearing the Lord tell me to trust Him and have the teeth extracted. I fell asleep knowing that I would call the dentist in the morning. As I drifted off to sleep I requested a definite physical sign in the morning that I was to proceed with the appointments.

In the morning I awoke, my throat was healed, my sinuses were clear, and I felt alert. The thought crossed my mind that maybe I misunderstood what the Lord was saying. I was busy juicing and suddenly needed to blow my nose. Infection poured out hankie after hankie full. I knew the Lord had spoken and given a physical affirmation.

I made the appointment and had both uppers extracted the same week. All the time in the dental chair, I was imagining the Lord’s hands working through the dentist. That the Lord’s wisdom, discernment, and love were flowing through the dentist. It was the Lord that was ministering healing and wholeness to me.

Amazing! What a difference in my health. I no longer had a sore throat. I stopped sneezing and coughing. There were no more allergies. I had more energy. All of this happened within hours after the extractions. My jaw was sore, yet already the Lord was redeeming my energy and health.

I waited two weeks and then went back to the doctor. He, of course, was very concerned with the blood lab readings and that my blood was not fighting the cancer, infection and viruses that were flowing through my blood. I explained my teeth and what the Lord had spoken and that I had them extracted. I believed that if he would re-do the blood tests he would find a major difference.

He had his reservations, as the dentist did not see any infection, etc. when he did the x-rays. The doctor did re-do the blood work. God is so good. All my blood work came back better than it had been for the past two years. Even the glucose dropped 15 points putting me back into the middle range. The glucose reading is 85 instead of over 100. Wow, God indeed is the Physician and will guide and direct us as we learn to listen to Him. What confidence the Lord has given me, as I am learning to listen and obey.

The doctor admitted that often they do not know or understand the body. They can only go on our comments and tests available to them. Because I was not complaining or having any challenges with my teeth, it would then be best to consider that the cancer was advancing and my blood was unable to control the cancer cells.

For me it is a reminder and affirmation that I am not to put my trust and belief in the medical field. God Almighty is in control and He rules and reigns and has dominion over all. That includes my body.

I have had one lower tooth extracted and soon the other lower tooth will be extracted. With the extraction of each tooth, God has not only sustained me but returned my energy and health. Thank You Lord, that You have directed me in juicing, detoxing and other healing modalities that not only help the body to heal, but also strengthen my immune system and give me plenty of food for health and vitality. Thank You Lord, that I still have my front teeth and am still able to smile God’s radiant love to all who He sends my way.

Healed of Lymphoma!
I’m writing this letter to thank you, but also to help those who are in my former condition. Please make this letter available to anyone and everyone that will listen.

What a blessing it was to meet Dr. Pam, let alone all she taught me about “how to live”. I was diagnosed with cancer of the lymph nodes (lymphoma) on September 16, 2002. I lost my hair 3 times during the chemotherapy treatments, and was hospitalized 5 times between April 25, 2005 and July 18, 2005.

I followed an unimaginable chemotherapy schedule: every 28 days I suffered through 6 hours of chemotherapy for 6 days straight. This went on for 3 years! In addition, I had 28 days of radiation. I had absolutely NO ENERGY. Because I had no veins left to do the infusion, I had to get a med port. I was constantly tired and always SICK!

A good friend of mine, Judy Switowski/Jones, suggested that I make an appointment with Dr. Pam Insinna, “just to see if it would work for me.” My first visit was August 23, 2005. I was on a 2-week break from chemotherapy. At the end of the 2 weeks, I was to receive a body scan, then unfortunately return to more chemo. (yuck)

Dr. Pam wasn’t shaken a bit with the fact that I had given her only 2 weeks. She praised God that she had the opportunity to work with me without more toxins going into my body.

The first TBA testing was intense! My diet was changed and I received additional support to make my remedies work more effectively. I was to return to see Dr. Pam on the day before going for the body scan. The second testing indicated that I was cancer free! I not only felt better, I had more energy than I knew what to do with.

The next day, I went for the body scan, and it was CLEAN, and I didn’t need anymore chemotherapy (at least they postponed it for 3 months). Praise God!!! (And Dr. Pam for her faith!) Dr. Pam has given me my life back. I praise the Lord for the anointing on her and her work.

I joyfully share this testimony with everyone because God truly does answer prayers. Today I not only have the energy to clean my house, but also my daughter’s house! I am once again active in my church, and have organized a program to bring relief to Katrina victims. God has much for me to do.

As I write this letter, I am anxiously awaiting my 11-day cruise. This will be the first cruise in 3 years in which I’ll have enough energy to do more than just sleep, and I can’t wait!

With the prayers of my church family, family and friends, and Dr. Pam, I have become a testimony to God’s incredible healing power. As Dr. Pam says, “When you call out to God for a healing, it does not fall on deaf ears. He does the healing, my job is to get the junk out of the way and allow for a manifestation.” I stand today, victorious over lymphoma!

I am scheduled for one final body scan on February 15, 2006. On February 20, 2006 I will be getting the med port removed.

I would like to share one thought with you… At one time, I thought alternative medicine was nothing but a “money maker” for the individual doing it. But when I walked into Dr. Pam’s office, and met with her, I knew that money was not what she was all about! She is on a mission from our Lord, and I will do everything in my power to help her. She gives so much of herself to do His work.

I’m writing this testimony as a way to spread the word to all cancer and terminally ill patients, and also to those who are sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. Don’t be deceived any longer. There is hope. There is help! There is truth in what Dr. Pam has to offer. TBA really works!!!

P.S. Follow up – Last body scan is clean! Praise God! Shunt to be removed on Friday, February 24, 2006!!!! What an incredible God we serve!!!
