Look at Me, Terry. Do you see My face?

Yes, Lord. It is bright. And full of life and joy.

Yes, but do you see Me making faces?

What? You, making faces?

Yes, I do that from time to time. I like to laugh and have fun. But many have put Me into a stereotype and can’t picture Me having fun and laughing and playing. I played as a kid, and even as a teen…I liked to play… You know you can play and be serious…. But I found it is hard to be serious and play…Know what I mean?…if you are too serious, you won’t enjoy the time.

What do we do? What can we do?

Well, first whatever you do I am with you…so we can enjoy that together. When you laugh or see something funny, laugh with Me. I see it and hear it, too. Ask Me what I think about that sight or joke or situation. We can laugh together.

How about sports…I like sports, I like to play…you can play and talk to Me and we enjoy the experience together.. For what you feel, I feel. And what you experience I experience. So I enjoy the experiences of playing, and laughing and running and walking.

I love looking at My Father’s creation, which I know you do, too. You know, Terry, I enjoy the seasons, and I enjoy the weather changes…I love the rain, and I love the snow…yes snow…and I know you like the snow also…

But why don’t you just become more conscious of Me when you are doing the things you enjoy? But you must find some things you enjoy. For you have displaced that part of your life, I know part due to your physical condition. But you must have an outlet…and place to have fun…and plan it…and we will do it together…it’s okay…

Sometimes you feel the pressure to “be religious” and think that having fun is somehow less important than being with Me, and enjoying one another’s company. How about let’s start there.. Enjoy one another…but remind yourself that I am present and part of all you say and do, and when you laugh, and when you play, remind yourself…to think of Me. And talk to Me…just as you would a friend…and see what happens…

On another day…Rest in Me. When you feel anxious, come back to Me for peace and strength. You cannot operate out of fear, you must operate only out of the confidence you have in Me. Remember I only respond to faith. Not information…but faith. Faith is what I look for.

Terry, it is not the journaling per se that I am interested in, but your obedience. I want you to go back over what I have spoken and put into place a plan to accomplish them, with Me, of course, and begin to align your life to what I have said. Allow Me to direct your steps.
