Journaling from Pastor Terry Having Fun with God
Father, what does it look like to have fun with You? I dont know what that means.
Look at Me, Terry. Do you see My face?
Yes, Lord. It is bright. And full of life and joy.
Yes, but do you see Me making faces?
What? You, making faces?
Yes, I do that from time to time. I like to laugh and have fun. But many have put Me into a stereotype and cant picture Me having fun and laughing and playing. I played as a kid, and even as a teenI liked to play You know you can play and be serious. But I found it is hard to be serious and playKnow what I mean?if you are too serious, you wont enjoy the time.
What do we do? What can we do?
Well, first whatever you do I am with youso we can enjoy that together. When you laugh or see something funny, laugh with Me. I see it and hear it, too. Ask Me what I think about that sight or joke or situation. We can laugh together.
How about sportsI like sports, I like to playyou can play and talk to Me and we enjoy the experience together.. For what you feel, I feel. And what you experience I experience. So I enjoy the experiences of playing, and laughing and running and walking.
I love looking at My Fathers creation, which I know you do, too. You know, Terry, I enjoy the seasons, and I enjoy the weather changesI love the rain, and I love the snowyes snowand I know you like the snow also
But why dont you just become more conscious of Me when you are doing the things you enjoy? But you must find some things you enjoy. For you have displaced that part of your life, I know part due to your physical condition. But you must have an outletand place to have funand plan itand we will do it togetherits okay
Sometimes you feel the pressure to be religious and think that having fun is somehow less important than being with Me, and enjoying one anothers company. How about lets start there.. Enjoy one anotherbut remind yourself that I am present and part of all you say and do, and when you laugh, and when you play, remind yourselfto think of Me. And talk to Mejust as you would a friendand see what happens
On another dayRest in Me. When you feel anxious, come back to Me for peace and strength. You cannot operate out of fear, you must operate only out of the confidence you have in Me. Remember I only respond to faith. Not informationbut faith. Faith is what I look for.
Terry, it is not the journaling per se that I am interested in, but your obedience. I want you to go back over what I have spoken and put into place a plan to accomplish them, with Me, of course, and begin to align your life to what I have said. Allow Me to direct your steps.

How You Can Nurture Christian Entrepreneurship in the Philippines
The story from Eman Abrea: Last year I started helping a Christian group that helps 100 poor families by training them how to make hand-crafted pressed flower cards. I tried my best to sell cards to my friends to encourage them continually to support their own households. Before selling these cards, these families can't able to eat three times a day and most of the time they ate one regular instant noodles good for the whole family! Their children did not go to schools. But praise God now their stories are quite different. They are earning 10,000 pesos or US$217 or more every month and their families are happy, healthy and the children are studying.
Because of these success stories, we would like to expand this project to help more poor people and children to alleviate their poverty. If we have more buyers of these cards, then we can train those needy people how to make cards and through that they can able to earn money right in their own homes. If this will happen, then more families will become happy, secure and will never be tempted to commit crimes. At the same time, they will come to know, love and follow the Lord Jesus. Through this simple way, we can help this country to be a place where peace and progress exist!

Achala from India Shares the Impact of Journaling & Obedience to Gods Voice
Last year when I was in India I met a young girl. I was impressed with her because she said that she reads a minimum of 5 chapters daily from Bible. She mentioned that she lived close to my parents house. I took her details and promised to meet her.
This Monday Lord impressed very strong in my heart to go and visit them. I was a bit hesitant as I was a stranger to them. I enquired of the Lord and journaled it. The Lord said to tell Satish that LORD loves him and He will deliver him from all his troubles.
I went and knocked at the door without knowing how well I would be received. They opened the door and let me in. I sat there, prayed, and told them what Lord had spoken. The lady opened her heart and told me that they were passing through a rough time. She said she had not slept for a few days and she woke up that morning with a severe headache. She prayed LORD, please send help today. We prayed together and I left.
After two days of this incident, Lord spoke to me to say go and give him Rs.10,000 immediately. I got ready and I was at his door step at 7:50 am. I delivered Lords message and he said he had heard about hearing Gods voice but had never experienced that himself. He asked me how much the money was. I said its ten thousand. He said thats what he needed that day, not a penny less, not a penny more. It was 31st Oct - the last day for his daughters school fee. I was amazed myself and thank God for the obedience.
Journaling is definitely helping. Praise the Lord! Thank you so much for all your encouragement and prayers.
