The seed you plant will bear much fruit. It is being planted in good soil. Testimony of Healing from Bryan J. Kelly, a CLU Student and Youth Minister I came from a very conservative Southern Baptist background. My church taught fervently that the miraculous gifts of the Spirit are not for today. The first seminary I attended taught the same thing. So, I have always been skeptical when approaching any teaching that is charismatic in nature. God has greatly used the Communion with God course to open my eyes to the wonderful, Spirit-filled life that is available to the Christian today. After reviewing some of the course material from Communion with God, specifically the part dealing with divine healing, God has given me another confirmation that His Spirit is at work in miraculous ways. My wife, who suffers from chronic headaches, was in severe pain this week. She had taken all of her prescribed medicine and consulted her doctor, but on this particular day she could not get rid of her headache. She was in so much pain that we were thinking about taking her to the emergency room. Since all else failed, I decided to lay my hands on her head and pray and ask Jesus to heal her. This was something that I had never attempted before. I prayed silently and pictured God's light flowing through me into my wife. Of course, I didn't let my wife know what I was doing because I didn't want her to think that I was crazy. I believe she just thought that I was checking her temperature or something. When I finished praying, she looked at me with a puzzled look on her face. She then asked, “Did you say a prayer or something?” I then told her what I did, and that I had been studying that sort of thing in my coursework. She then stated, “This is going to sound crazy, but my headache is gone. It felt like something just lifted off of me while you had your hands on my head.” She now wants to take the Communion with God course for herself. Praise God for helping me and my family break out of our theological box, and praise God for what He is doing through Mark and Patti Virkler's ministry. Communion With God Taken into Colombia – Al Gengenach I just got back from a few weeks ministry in Colombia, South America, where I introduced Communion with God to leaders in the four churches where I was giving seminars. They were very favorably impacted. I had one copy of the CWG Study Guide in English, which I left with an American pastor and his wife who have 50-60 churches under their authority. They intend to begin to teach the principles to the 50 home group leaders in their own church immediately. I taught the principles to two other key pastors who immediately began to use them in their own lives. One of these, Santiago Guzman, said that he was able to download the Spanish version of the CWG Study Guide from your web page. Cool! Two Journal Entries from Dale January 5th While reading Psalm 94:19 – 'When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, your consolations delight my soul.' My children don't let Me console them. And Dale, this includes you. When the anxious thoughts come, you begin to dwell on them, and they begin to 'multiply within you'. Then they take you down, and away from Me. Like a little child who is pouting in a corner, you refuse to let Me bring delight to your soul. Like the song says, 'O what joy we often forfeit...' all because you don't bring Me your needs in prayer. Son, prayer isn't you telling Me what you need or how you feel, for I know these things already. Prayer slows you down, quiets you, so you can hear My voice and My consolations. I can live without prayer, but you can't. Those in the boat, above the water surface, can live without the air line, but the diver deep in the ocean, cannot. But it is My good pleasure to give air to those that need it, and that air is the breath of My Spirit. You're right, Lord, I do wallow too much in my worries and concerns. Forgive me, and create in me a clean heart that pursues your boldness and strength. How do You console me, Father? Laughter. I love to laugh. As you enter into My presence, you feel the weight of the burdens lift, the relief brings a joy and laughter that comes from freedom. Those things that bring you into My presence also bring My consolations. Quietness, prayer, My Word, worship, trust. Invite Me. Turn around, out of your corner and let Me surprise you. Let Me ruin your 'mad'. Come away from your anxious heart and run into Mine. December 5th Lord, You are so wonderful, and so wonderful to me. I have a hard time expressing the level of praise to you that I desire because You so overwhelm me. I stand in awe and fear of Your love. Share with me, Lord, what You desire, for Your words are life and bread to me. Son, many times you miss Me because you refuse to believe My goodness for you. This refusal is like a blind spot to you. But I have come to give you sight. I have all you need. I am the One Who fills your 'tanks'. When you are full, then you can bubble over. Don't give up. Absolutely do not give up. Do not fail to possess the land. I have gone before you and secured it. Lord, forgive me for my unbelief. Heal my blindness. Dale, I love you. I have invested My life into you. By letting Me grow and develop you, you are letting Me develop Me in you. For it is Me in you that will prosper, not your flesh. So in you, I have a vested interest. As you grow, My kingdom grows. This is why I surround My people with good things. They are gifts meant to be used and to be distributed. Words of life – that is one of the gifts that I have imparted to you. You will never run out of them, for if you do, come to Me and I will give more. My oracles. I also anoint your hands for the work of the kingdom. They will impart life upon all whom they touch. See, I have laid before you nations. Don't evaluate this promise by what you see at this time, just take Me at My word. When you go, I will send you with My camel train for those that I am sending you to.
