Jesus
Is STILL Touching His World!–
Mark Virkler
“I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly.” Those
were the words of Jesus as He walked amongst the people of Israel two thousand
years ago. His message has not changed. Jesus’ touch still brings abundant
life to each and every one of us.
Christ Who was born in a manger continues to touch the world more than two
millenia after His birth, which we celebrate during the Christmas season.
Obviously the reason He continues to touch His world is because He is not dead.
He is still alive. He was resurrected from the dead, and continues to live in
our midst and in our hearts through the amazing presence of the Holy Spirit.
What a miraculous and awesome reality!
The poem below comes from a Christian Leadership University student taking the Communion
With God course who found God could and did heal the horrific experience of
sexual abuse from her father. After Jesus had appeared in the scene, spoken to
her, showed her what He was doing and she journaled about it, she felt impressed
by the Holy Spirit to write the following poem:
I WAS THERE
By Lisa LaGrange 11/1/05
As you laid in your bed in the darkness of night
I was there.
As you dreamt childhood dreams in stillness and quiet
I was there.
As he came to your room and stood by your bed
I was there.
As your heart fiercely pounded with terror and dread
I was there.
As the weight of his body too heavy to bear
I was there.
Through the smell of his alcohol breath on your hair
I was there.
As you struggled but could not get out from beneath
I was there.
As the innocent child died a slow death
I was there.
I was there all the while; I was holding your hand;
I was knelt down beside you giving strength ‘til the end.
I wiped all your tears and stroked your fine hair,
And after he left I cradled my Dear......
in My arms, rocking gently to sleep; I was there.
I was there when he hurt you;
I was there when he robbed you;
I was there when he took all you
had.
But I went to the cross and I pled with My Father
and gave for you all that I had.
I was scared; I was naked, in pain and ashamed
as I hung on that cross all alone.
But to feel what you went through and heal all your pain
I was there from the cross to your home.
I will always be with you, never leave nor forsake you
for My love for you never shall wear.
So whenever you’re lonely or scared or in need
take refuge to know: I was there.
Lisa’s comments: “I sought the Lord for every line, as I am certainly
not a poet, and I am very pleased with the results. Now as I read this poem
daily I can’t put it down until I have read it at least five times. I am
finding it to be tremendously healing...in ways that I never would have
thought. I want to share this poem with as many people as I can because I
know the outrageous statistics of children who are sexually abused that are now
adults trying to salvage their lives.”
Lisa can be contacted .
She asks that you put “I Was There” in the “subject line” as normally
she doesn’t open e-mails from strangers.
Mark
and Patti in South Korea
It has been a thrill to see so many people deepen their encounter with the Lord
Jesus Christ over the years as they have learned to hear His voice and see His
vision. Patti and I are currently in South Korea for two weeks teaching our
three most popular seminars: Communion
With God, Prayers
That Heal the Heart and Christian
Dream Interpretation. These three books have been translated and printed in
Korean, and we will now leave in Korea the addition of Korean-translated CDs,
audios and videos to go with these printed materials. Please keep us in your
prayers!

We thank all of our readers who have shared the message of how to hear God’s
voice with your friends, with small groups and even in seminars and courses you
have taught. Thank you for spreading the message and teaching others how to
establish spiritual intimacy with the Lover of their souls.
For each one who learns and practices hearing His voice, the world has become a
much better place. One more candle burns more brightly with the light of the
Lord Jesus Christ. How about if you brighten some more candles this Christmas
season by giving the gift of our newly revised version of Dialogue with
God to your friends and family? Fresh, new journaling samples have been
included, along with insights and clarifications to the message the Lord has
given us since the first writing. It has just been released from Bridge-Logos

God
Communicates Through Dreams!
The birth and early years of Jesus’ life were surrounded by five dreams and
three visions. God’s revelation, purposes and protection were given through
these dreams and visions. To miss them would have meant missing the purposes of
God in that generation.
Dream from Pastor Charles Stock – Tuesday, October 11, 2005
Dream: I was lying in a large bed in the middle of two others. On my
left may have been Anne or Andrew. On the right was the corpse of my brother
Dave, which in the dream was being kept in some kind of preservation, perhaps
awaiting burial. It seemed normal and not at all scary. My focus was upon Dave’s
body and one of the lower legs twitched. I said to the other person, “Look,
after all these months, he is still twitching.” As soon as that was said, both
legs began to move in smooth movements. To my utter amazement, the entire body
began to stir as if someone was waking up. Dave sat up. Oh my! He opened his
eyes! He is trying to speak, but can't get it out.
I ran to get some water for him, but when I returned he was already sipping
water out of a plastic water bottle with a dark red label, which reminded me of
an Arrowhead Springs bottle, although I didn’t read the label.
Now I am taking Dave with me, looking for the right people to tell. We are in a
big house with lots of people. (Nobody seems to notice Dave.) I look into one
room and see Bryan with about 10 or more youth on knees and elbows praying
fervently. I notice Chris from the back. His hair is curly and he appears to be
a teenager. I shout out, “Jesus!” with joy and exhilaration. We go into
another room, and Dave crouches in the corner behind some object that might have
been a laundry basket.
I go to another room. It is a bedroom where my mother is sleeping in a bed with
a woman relative, who I don’t really see in detail. I wake up my mom. Then I
go into another bedroom, and there is Anastasia, asleep in a large bed. I wake
her and say to both of them, “Come on! You have to see something….”
We go into a room that seems like my parent’s bedroom in the house of my
childhood. When we get in, Dave stands up from his crouching position in the
corner. He begins to speak and says hello! My mom is overcome with joy and sits
down on the end of the bed. I am so happy and active that I wake myself up. The
time is 12:05 AM.
Setting of Dream: I had just returned home from a trip to San
Francisco and Los Angeles. In San Francisco, I was at my niece, Michelle’s,
wedding. She is Dave’s older daughter. At the wedding, I saw my mom as well. I
flew to LAX on Saturday night and spent Sunday preaching at Harvest Rock Church
and then the evening with a friend.
I was generally pretty happy and focused on the Lord and His activity at Life
Center and in the Earth in general when I went to bed. I am in the middle of an
information and vision season at Life Center.
Feeling of Dream: The feeling of the dream was mostly surprise
and wonder.
Action of Dream: The actions of the dream were:
watching Dave come to life from the dead,
running to find water, so he could speak,
looking for the right people to tell,
observing the youth praying,
shouting, "Jesus!" at the top of my lungs,
waking my mother,
waking Anastasia,
going into my parent’s bedroom from my childhood,
Dave greeting my mother,
my mother sitting down, overcome with joy.
People of Dream: The main characters in this dream are
My older brother, Dave, who died 1½ years ago—very intelligent,
somewhat distant and cold, highly competitive, beloved yet addicted. There
was a sensitivity and a call on his life, but he spent it on worldly success
and pleasures. He may represent partially used capabilities and unreached
potential.
Myself—me.
Bryan and the youth group—The fervency of youth. Prayers from 10 or 15
years ago. Purity, naïveté, and devotion.
My mother—my origins, background, family patterning.
Anastasia—my offspring, fruit, future hope.
The shadow person in the bed with me in the beginning—parts of my life
that I don’t recognize.
Symbols of Dream: This dream is highly symbolic.
Lying in a bed—the place of rest and symbolic of my personal life. With
a shadow person, an unknown and undeveloped part of me. And with a corpse
that seemed preserved, not deteriorating. Am I preserving something that has
lost its life?
The “awakening” of the corpse—an amazing rebirth of something in my
life that is dormant or dead. Are there capabilities and potentials that
seem to have been hopelessly lost?
The thirst. Before the resurrected capabilities can find voice, they must
be watered. The red labeled water bottle may be symbolic of the water and
the blood, the full atonement being applied to the once dead and now living
capability.
The youth in prayer. This event may be the hope of a young generation.
There may be or have been a longing for this, either in the pure desires of
my own youth, or in the present generation. This awakening may be the effect
of prayers prayed 10 or 15 years in the past.
The big house with various people—that which occurred in the private
realm, may spill over into the public realm. The big house may represent
Life Center or even the sphere of ministry beyond.
Looking for the right people to tell—the awakening has an appropriate
audience. Dave crouching in the corner seems somewhat playful, but also a
revelation that this will be revealed at the right time.
Waking my mother and my daughter—I think this has to do with an
integration of my past and my future. Interestingly these characters all
represent parts of me.
Going into my parents’ bedroom—clearly this has to do with something
from my past. My mother is overwhelmed with joy. Perhaps it is the bloodline
issues of my life, the sins of the fathers sort of stuff. In which case, the
resurrected abilities will bring joy and victory into this facet of my life.
Conclusion: The conclusion of this dream is very encouraging. I
believe the Lord is alerting me to something I think is dead coming to life. I
believe there is an integration coming to me of splintered aspects of my life.
The joy and victory of resurrection is coming into issues that have affected my
past and will reverberate into my posterity. It is something that occurs in the
private and personal realm, is shouted about in the public realm, and results in
an overwhelming joy and fulfillment in the core issues of my life.
Action (if any): I think this dream is encouraging me to be alert, even
in the place of personal fatigue and refreshment, for the supernatural activity
of God awakening something that I perceived as dead but worth preserving.
