Journaling: The Wind of Revival–

During a day retreat with the Lord I had a sense that He would again speak to me
about my church. As I prayed, it was almost as if He was standing next to my ear
when He whispered, “Breath – meditate on breath.” I could almost feel His
breath next to my ear. I then heard “Ezekiel 37,” which I meditated on. The
verses that were impressed upon me were, “I am going to breathe into you and
make you live again. I will put breath into you, and you will come to life.”
As I meditated on this I believe I then heard, “I am as close to you as the
air that you breathe. My breath is upon you. I breathe life into your soul. I
whisper into your heart. My Spirit softly blows over you, anointing you with
fire. You need air to breathe. You need My breath to live.
“I am blowing a fresh wind of revival into My Church. Not all will recognize
this new breath. Refreshment will come to those who breathe deeply. The scent of
fresh air is upon My people. Open up the windows. Open up the doors. Let this
fresh air gently blow around My people. Do you smell it? Let this fresh air
replace the stale air of closure. Open up your spirits to receive. It is time to
let the fresh wind of My Spirit blow upon closed minds, hearts and spirits.”
I then had a picture of God blowing His breath into Adam – the breath of
intimacy and life. Phrases that came to mind were: winds of change, stale air
– suffocation, fresh air – new life. Resuscitation – breath to a dying
body.
I then wept as I saw Jesus on the cross and realized that He gave His last
breath for His Church.
I looked up “closure” in the dictionary and along with the obvious
definition I was intrigued with these words: “an articulation which keeps the
breath from moving outward by closing the passage at some place.”
I wrote in my journal: Lord, I feel like You want me to share your “breath
message” with my Sunday night group. Lord, I know this message was for my
church, but is it also for the Church at large?
I believe I heard the Lord say these words, “My breath blows upon My Church
– across this land – seeking those who desire to breathe deeply. For those
who stop, wait, and listen, to listen to the sound of My whisper, intimacy with
the King through My Holy Spirit will follow. Many do not seek Me. Many seek Me
in the traditions of man, through songs of praise, and feelings of the flesh.
Many seek Me through anointed teachers and ministers of My ways.”
I then had a picture of the Church rushing to and fro looking outwardly – the
doing – when in fact intimacy with the King is found within – the being. The
next picture I had was of a husband and wife going out to a nice restaurant for
dinner. (This is a good thing to do with our spouse.) Then I saw this same
couple at a birthday party with friends, celebrating as a group. This, too, is
another aspect of our relationship with others. But, when we are alone with our
lover, then a deeper level of intimacy can be shared. In the quiet – fully
devoted to communicating with just each other. Serving our spouse by earning a
living, cooking meals and keeping the house up are good. They show our love, but
it is not intimacy.
I then believe I heard the Lord say, “My desire for My Church, My Bride, is to
wait upon Me. In the quiet, in the stillness of time. My breath will become your
breath. In a time when man seeks that which is bigger and better than before or
that which was done in the past, I will bring crashing down the idols that are
in My temple – the Body of My Church and breathe a fresh wind of revival that
will begin deep within the heart of each one that I have redeemed. Get ready My
Church, My Beloved, for I am coming soon. Turn away from that which would
distract you and turn your heart to Me. I love you. I died for you. I am coming
back for you. Will you desire intimacy with Me as I desire it with you? Turn to
Me – let Me whisper in your ear. Breath. My breath intertwined with your
breath. Breathe deeply, My love, My beloved Church. For I desire to do much in
you and through you.
“You are My beautiful one. Rest in that I have all things in My hands. You are
rising to a new level of responsibility and honor. No longer will you look down,
but your eyes will be lifted up. I will pour more of My Spirit upon you and you
will freely prophesy in the morning, in the noontime and in the late hours of
the day. You will have open communication with the One Who loves you so much.
You will speak My words more freely and a double portion of wisdom will rest
upon your shoulders. Leaders will seek you out as one who hears from the Lord
God Almighty. And wisdom will go forth from your lips as a child speaks with
innocence and love.”

Healed
by the Power of God!–

My daughter, 21, is in Australia doing a year’s staff internship at the YWAM
base there. She has had an awful time with her skin...terrible rashes kept
popping up. While praying for her, I pictured Jesus, engulfed in light as
healing anointing power, and let it flow through me to her. I felt the
anointing...I used the top of my bed for the point of contact, in faith
believing that it would reach her so far away. This morning I got this email
from her:
“And by the way...GOD COMPLETELY HEALED MY RASHES...ALL OF THEM! Thank you so
much for your prayers....you’re amazing and so is God!”
This isn’t the first time...I prayed for a lady in church a few weeks ago with
a bad back. We could both FEEL the power going into her as I envisioned Jesus
and His healing virtue flowing from Him through me and into her....and she says
her back is much better!!! When you picture Jesus and allow His power to flow
through you, BELIEVING, people get healed. PRAISE GOD!!!

of the biggest scandals in the annals of American medicine?”–

As a first-time Dad, I find myself responsible, along with my wife Charlene, for
making some of the most important decisions that will affect the life and health
of our daughter Jasmine. Since we live in the information age, with instant,
almost effortless access to all the cumulative knowledge that Man has seen fit
to record (perhaps an overstatement, but a slight one at that), one would be
forgiven for believing that this should make it easier to acquire the necessary
facts to arrive at a firm, confident position regarding such life-and-death
decisions.
Alas, nothing could be further from the truth.
You will find, and likely already have found, that almost as quickly as your
research has begun on a topic, especially one as controversial as vaccinations,
that you are overwhelmed with the manifest brilliance, gravitas and obvious
infallibility of the case being made by the author/advocate you are reading. You
become absolutely convinced as you go from source to source, each building and
expanding on the other.
Then you decide, purely out of the spirit of fair-play, just to see what the
other side could possibly have to say to defend themselves. That’s when you
realize that, had you decided to begin your research by reading what the
opposition had to say, you would be just as much a brainwashed zealot for that
position as you were for the other! (I think Solomon would be nodding
in agreement right about now.)
Since I am still in a continual investigation process, I will not endorse anyone’s
views on the matter. Additionally, since everyone who has made up their
mind on the subject tends to accuse those who don’t share their views of being
responsible for the deaths of countless children, I will refrain from taking any
public position whatsoever. I only wish to bring to your attention the following
article:

Right-brained
or Learning-disabled?–

While evaluating a new library software program, I came across the following
description of a book. Notice the juxtaposition of the adjectives describing the
student this book is written to help you teach:
“Offers a different approach to teaching learning-disabled
children phonics, math, writing, music, and problem solving.
“Sneak Peek: If your child has difficulty understanding new concepts, the
problem may be the teaching method, not the student. This invaluable book
presents a series of simple, imaginative and proven exercises to help right-brained
children develop the academic skills they need.”
Apparently, to at least some teaching professionals, right-brained =
learning-disabled!
We just want you to know that CLU does
not think right-brained people are learning-disabled! We consider the Western
educational process to be unbalanced, unbiblical and worshipping at the throne
of rationalism. (Can you tell we feel strongly about this?) Come join
