CLU Has Been the Best Part of My College Education
I have been blessed by this journey with CLU and my life is forever changing. I do not have the words to share with you right now, Mr. Virkler, but I will say that you have changed my life. Your obedience to God has affected my family, friends and community.

The Doctorate at CLU was the most important education I have ever had and will ever get. I received my B.A in education and my M.A. in counseling from The University of Phoenix. My Doctorate with CLU is the most precious part of my educational journey. Glory be to God! My Doctorate from Walden University will allow me to be a certified instructor in the State of Arizona but nothing can ever take the place of my Doctorate from CLU. Divine Authority Comes from Rhema! (from one of Mark's spiritual advisors)
The research goes on for my book on authority. I now see that we (any believer) have authority only when we speak the RHEMA of God. Since God retains all His authority and does not give away, delegate, or otherwise distribute it to anyone, it is only spoken through His people as a direct word or RHEMA from Himself.

Because so many believers think that it is very rare, if not impossible, to hear from God, this concept is very difficult to accept. But to those for whom hearing the voice of the Spirit has become almost as normal as breathing, it presents no impediment at all. It is also very liberating because we don't have to fake some kind of authority supposedly resident in a title, a position, or a ministry.

When we don't have a word from God, we merely give our opinion and give others the liberty to do what they wish with it. When we do speak a word from God, it contains its own authority and we don't have to try to enforce it by pulling rank, flashing our badge, or by any other human stratagems.

It is an absolutely incredible concept to think that God has sprinkled His divine authority promiscuously on all believers just as some sort of birthright, and then hopes that they won't use it unwisely! Of course, we will use it unwisely. Only as we listen to His voice, see in the Spirit what He is doing, and speak only what He gives us to speak, can we be trusted to be a channel of divine authority.

The Voice of God Reaches into Prisons, Healing Marriages and Families!
CLU provides books and course materials to prisoners on a whatever you can afford basis. Following is a statement from the wife of one prisoner whose husband has been receiving some of our courses.

Kim's husband, Johnny, who is being released this month, received the Communion With God course in prison, and began to journal. Following are several of his journaling entries, used with his permission.

Lord, I need You to strengthen my marriage.

Become a part of your family. Strive to encourage your son. He loves and respects you. You are the only father he has ever known. Love him as your own and I will increase your family. Trust in Me and your marriage will make it through the storms of life. With your eyes fixed on Me, nothing will ever come between you and your wife again.

Johnny, all I ask of you is to start praying without leaning on your own ideas. Be open to Me and I will hear your requests. Selfishness is not of Me, and I forbid it. So pray to Me with love, understanding and compassion and let your requests be heard. Just make sure your priorities are straight. I am strengthening you day by day. My joy and My peace I leave with you, Johnny. Come to Me often.

Your emotions must be submitted to the Holy Spirit fully before coming to Me. I will cleanse you each time you come to Me, if you will only ask. I will not force anything on you. You must be willing to receive Me wholly and completely. My will for you is to seek Me daily. Pick up your cross and follow Me. I am a jealous God. Do not conform to this world. Let My Word transform your mind into the likeness of Mine. Yes, I am with you, cleansing you, so that our relationship may grow. I love you, JOHNNY!

Churches Changed Through CLU's Curriculum
My name is Linda Withrow, Dean of Shining Light Bible College in Charleston, West Virginia. I just wanted to send you this memo to say THANK YOU for the teaching series 'Gifted to Succeed.' Our school has been in operation for two years now. We started with 'Communion With God.' This class proved to be a springboard for greater things to come. Next, we went through the 'Life of Christ' series. Again, a wonderful class and more excited students emerged.

After completing all three semesters I felt it was time to teach the class about the gifts that our Lord has given to us. That led me to teach 'Releasing Spiritual Gifts.' WOW!! This was even more stupendous! Then came last semester. After much prayer, I chose 'Gifted to Succeed' as the next semester class. Little did I know what an impact this would have on SLBC! It seemed that immediately the students kicked in gearMark & Patti, lives have been changed because of you. Souls will be saved because of you. Gifts will emerge because of you. Homeschool Student Finishes High School with CLU
Joanna, our daughter, has thoroughly enjoyed and has been spiritually blessed by all her courses at CLU, as she has now finished her senior year in high school. We praise God for CLU and for the opportunity to attend the High Mill Church of the Resurrection, in Canton, Ohio, when you taught a Communion With God Seminar.

Rob and I appreciate what the Lord is doing through your life and I have personally been in desperation to hear His voice lately, applying what you teach about that subject, with wonderful results. God bless you and Patti, as you continue in the Lord's will for your lives - you have certainly impacted ours in a profound way. - Because He Lives, Nancy Kapsar


Toronto Staff Takes CWG to the Cree Indians
We've been on an outreach to a church that is located on a Cree First Nations reservation called Ouj-Bougoumou, which has a 500 population. It is the smallest reserve in the James Bay area. Andrew Bullock and I taught on Communion with God. I've never seen it like this before. We only gave the people one journal session and people were getting deep healing and deliverance from hearing God's voice!! It was awesome!!

God spoke straight to their hearts - it was beautiful to see them being set free just from hearing God speak to them!!! God is good and so faithful. It was such a privilege to experience this. Thank you, Mark, for sharing the keys God showed you with us that enable us to share it with all people.

Our teachings were translated into the Cree language. It is a very basic language, for example they do not have a name for fingers, just a name for hand and that includes fingers!! They do have the Bible translated but the older people do not understand all the new words. It is a hunting language. I set the scene for their journal session walking with God through the forest.

Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship asked me to give another course based on your teaching called: Hearing God's Voice, Knowing God's Heart. I taught the course and used your teachers' guide with the transparencies and your seminar guides. It went so well!! Everybody heard from God. It was awesome to see how Holy Spirit directed the meeting. There were 25 - 30 people. I was so blessed. - Marguerite Wessels


The Voice of God Heals Depression and Influences a Church
I have begun counseling people and I am amazed at what God is doing. I love watching Him work. In February of this year I began counseling a woman who was suicidal. My Pastor, after seeing the change in this woman, asked me to explain my method of counseling to him.

I explained that I first start by teaching how to dialog with God and then I teach them that their identity is in Christ, and the rest just falls into place. He asked me to teach him how to dialog with God and after he saw and used the Communion With God workbook, he ordered several copies to teach a class himself. - Colleen


God Says, Don't Strive, Just Trust and Let Me Flow....
Lord Jesus, I really want to be like David who knew how to quiet himself and just wait in Your presence. Show me how You want me to do that.

Cindy, you believe that I can speak to you but you don't trust that I want to and will speak to you. You struggle and strive to hear but because you work at it, your body becomes tense and your focus wanders and you miss the stillness that I have for you. Come in simple trust without striving. As you do this, your body will relax and you will find the stillness you desire. I am your peace.

Lord Jesus, what do You have to say about the eyes of my heart? How do You want me to use them?

I am a God Who not only hears My people, I also see My people. I look down from heaven and behold them. I have created you in My image with the capacity to behold. I want you to behold Me. As you behold Me, you will be changed into My likeness. Let Me fill the eyes of your heart with the visions and dreams that I have for you. - Cindy Chedore
