This newsletter is full of wonderful stories which will encourage your faith. First, we are thrilled to announce the birthing of the Certified Lamad Prayer Counselors network! Check out the article and website below for more information on this exciting new ministry resource.
Next, we have Gina Burmeisters inspiring story of how God has taken her into the inner city to teach at-risk children how to hear Gods voice. Read her journaling, the actions she took in obedience to the Lords words, and the incredible ministry He is now using her in as a result of her willingness to follow Him, wherever He leads!
Also, we have an opportunity to put our trust in Gods promise concerning financial blessing. I discovered that God commanded me to test Him concerning money. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows. Then I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of the ground; nor will your vine in the field cast its grapes, says the LORD of hosts. All the nations will call you blessed, for you shall be a delightful land, says the LORD of hosts (Mal. 3:10-12).
I told God I really didnt want to put Him to the test. Instead, I wanted to simply give out of my love and obedience to Him and His principle of tithing.
He said, Mark, if you want to obey Me then do what I have commanded you to do and TEST ME with your giving. Give your tithe and offerings IN FAITH believing for a financial blessing back. Believe I will open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing upon you until it overflows. Mark, do what I have commanded you to do. TEST ME! Give IN FAITH and obedience, not simply in obedience!
I said, Fine, God, I will test You if that is what You want.
He said, That is want I want!
That journaling was years ago, and today God is saying to me, Mark, you can give your way through this recession.

Taking the Four Keys into the Inner City! Gina Burmeister
A new mission field will open up but in a most unlikely place. It will be hard but rewarding, My child. And you will see the salvation of others through the fruit of your labor. I wrote these words on June 29, 2007 in my journal during my quiet time before the Lord. I saw a picture of African American faces and I wondered... Five months later I found myself on the front porch of an inner city home interceding for friends while they were leading a childrens Bible Club on Saturday afternoons.
Invest in a generation that seems lost to most. Before long God was knitting my heart to children in the inner city and He was also stirring up my passion connecting others to Gods heart through an intimate relationship with Him. Emboldened by Gods words to me through my journaling, I began to ask children if they would be interested in meeting with me for an hour in a small group for several weeks to learn how to hear Gods voice.
The big top is moveable and you will move as it moves. Because this is a mobile neighborhood ministry, our meeting location varies. Often we will meet at a picnic table, Burger King, my vehicle or a nearby center. All materials - pencils, small spiral journals, Bibles, books and snacks are kept and transported in my portable filing cabinet each week which is the back of my vehicle.
Continue to plow amongst the children teaching them to learn to hear My still small voice. Each week I hold up a sheet of paper with the Steps to Hearing Gods Voice printed on it and together we repeat aloud the steps and the special key as well as doing the corresponding hand motions.
Below are a few of the childrens remarkable testimonies
From a 9 year old boy A boy tried to hit me at school and just as I was getting ready to haul off and hit him back, I remembered Jesus and the steps. Jesus said, Dont hit him. You could hurt him and you could also get suspended again. I had been suspended before for getting in a fight. Jesus was right so I didnt get into a fight and instead I walked away.
From an 11 year old girl I told Maria we should ask God about [the situation]. So I taught her the steps to hear Gods voice on the playground. I got stuck on the third step and then I started doing the actions and I remembered it was to tune to the flow. We did the steps together and we heard from God what we should do. We went over to the other girl and told her what God wanted us to tell her We are all friends with each other again.
From a 9 year old boy While I was at my uncles house I shared with everyone the steps to hearing Gods voice. There were lots of us (aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and my mom). I described a Bible scene just like Gina does that everybody pictured with me. It was of a mountain and Jesus was waiting for each of them at the top.
One of my uncles who used to go to church heard God say to him that if he would appreciate what Jesus had done for him on the cross and go back to church he would able to turn his life around. And guess what??? He told us he wants to do just that!
Everybody heard God speak to them and there was excitement in the room!!! God later thanked me for doing this for Him. Then I saw Jesus give me a great big hug and it felt good.
I have entrusted My children to you for a little while. Its been one year since the first small group began. More than thirty children have since learned to hear Gods voice, six children have received Jesus as their Savior, relevant and personal relationships with Jesus have been ignited, many are teaching other children and adults how to hear Gods voice and one life has been saved (through one girl teaching her suicidal friend to hear Gods voice at school)!

Lets Seed into South America!
A good friend of mine who was a missionary to Colombia has recently made us aware of the ministry there of Russell Stendal. Russell air-drops pamphlets and radios into remote areas controlled by guerillas. The radios only tune to a Christian radio station which plays solid scriptural teachings and Christian music. Amazingly, this station has the respect of the guerillas, the right wing paramilitary, plus the government. It is amazing how this has happened. Of course, the Stendals have been on several assassination lists. Just recently a hit man was on the way to kill Russell, listened to his radio broadcasts, got saved and turned himself in. Some of the top evangelists working with Russell are former guerillas.

They have been asked by the commanding Army General to put in a major radio station on top of a high mountain that will cover most of Colombia and $50,000 is desperately needed to get this up and running.

Delivered of demons while watching a Prayers That Heal the Heart DVD
I have just finished watching the last DVD for the Prayers That Heal the Heart course, the DVD on the Model Healing Prayer Session where you minister to Heidi. As background to my testimony, I need to let you know that I have had an issue with fear of abandonment. While Ive gone through deliverance for several demons, the problem Ive had with the fear of abandonment was not, to my knowledge, ever addressed head-on.
Well, as you prayed for Heidi, I was thinking about how much I identified with her pain and how much compassion I had for her. Then suddenly, I began to cough very forcefully and almost to gag. I knew instantly that a spirit of the fear of abandonment had come out of me! I had to write to tell you that, even though you were not personally ministering to me, that demon of the fear of abandonment had to obey the Name of Jesus. Glory to God!
