Report on the Nigerian Trip
I taught Communion with God followed by Prayers that Heal the Heart all day for five days. In addition, I preached three times on Sunday and most evenings of the week, teaching the four keys to hearing God’s voice to about 2000 people. The Lord blessed, everyone was thrilled, and many began to journal. I challenged them all to do a three-month follow up CWG course followed by a three-month Prayers that Heal the Heart course, where each participant would take a group through the seminar guides and journal and pray weekly. Many committed themselves to that. With nearly 200 pastors present, I believe this will have a large and ongoing impact in Nigeria.

In addition, I ordained 39 men and women into the ministry with the laying on of hands. These are people who attended the five days of training, and who completed ministry application forms with pastoral recommendations and interviews.

Your prayers brought God’s provision and grace emotionally, spiritually, and with my experiences on Ghana Airlines, which offered a constant series of challenges. Thank you for these prayers. They were sensed, and their effects witnessed. I greatly appreciate everyone who prayed for and financially supported this missions trip.

Divine coincidences: In the Lagos, Nigeria airport, I met Prophet Jonathan David, in whose church in Indonesia I had taught Communion With God many years ago. I believe God will have much in store for us both through this renewed relationship. On the plane on my way home, I also met a Nigerian by the name of Folorunso Eddo who is a Christian. He has been told by God to sell his American business in a few years, move back to Nigeria, and run for Governor of Lagos, and eventually for president of Nigeria.  He felt it was God who had instructed him to do this, and my spirit witnessed an agreement. I believe we will have a sustained relationship and I feel God will show us ways of supporting Folorunso in his run for political offices in Nigeria. Nigeria desperately needs Godly politicians who will not take or give a bribe. Folorunso meets that criterion. Again, thank you for your prayers. God’s hand moved mightily.

Our book Prayers That Heal the Heart, published by Bridge-Logos, is listed as one of their 20 best sellers! It is number 15 and surrounded by books by such authors as Andrew Murray and E.M. Bounds. Praise God that He has used this book so mightily is such a short time. May its impact continue to grow.

Journaling about Sexuality from a CLU Student
“I have never journaled about sexuality before and feel very awkward and unsure as to how to go about it. What do you want to say to me concerning sexuality?”

Reply: “Sex is one of my greatest gifts to humanity. When done within the boundaries I have set, it is one of the most beautiful and fulfilling acts that a husband and wife can experience. It's a beautiful thing. It draws together, causes an intimacy with two that comes no other way. I created and designed sex. It is not dirty but beautiful. Yet, the enemy of all mankind has taken My gift and has perverted it (as he does with all things) and has used it to do the very opposite of why I designed it. You have questioned Me often as to why I have given such a strong drive to men or to you. Why could it not be more balanced between male and female? I have placed with man and woman the perfect and exact amount or desire for sexuality, romance and affection. Man is the pursuer and woman is the responder. The 2 together, balance each other out. The 2 together, submitted, and surrendered together and to each other causes the highest degree or level of intimacy possible. It is just not a physical act, but an emotional and spiritual act. It is an honoring of one another. It is an abandonment and surrendering to each other. It is a letting down of walls, an exposing of hearts to one another. Satan causes the exchange to be just two bodies and keeps it in the sensual and carnal realm. My intention has always been so much deeper and intimate. My deepest blessing is upon husband and wife as they exchange and give and become vulnerable to each other. Never was sex meant to stay in the natural or carnal realm. Yes, there is a great physical pleasure and that is the way I purposed. Yet, when done in My way, the benefits go so much deeper. So much further. It draws so much closer. Can you see why the enemy desires so strongly to pervert such a beautiful gift? One produces death, shame, rebellion etc. The other produces intimacy, a greater bonding, a greater peace and a drawing together. It produces a oneness. True sexual fulfillment comes only in the marriage bed and not looking elsewhere. That only leads to death and separation. As always, My way is perfect. It is best. I know. As all else that I created, it is for the pleasure and enjoyment of my children. Look to me for restoration in your marriage. In you and also in your wife. There is no other way. There must be a greater turning away from the past, and each other's faults and shortcomings and a turning to Me. I will restore all the years. Again, that is My delight. I will go deep and remove and restore and impart all that is needed in your marriage relationship. I simply need your cooperation.

Guided by a Dream - Erin Arnold
I am 21 years old and I have been journaling since 11th grade of high school when God taught me how through His Holy Spirit. Until recently I didn't know anyone else who journaled. I attended a conference at Victory Christian Fellowship in Georgetown, South Carolina and was amazed that God had already taught me all of the principles I already practiced plus some. It was awesome to get words to describe what God taught me. When I got home God gave me a dream. In the dream, God showed me I was in my apartment teaching some of my close friends what I had learned. He let me scan the room and showed me each person's face that was supposed to be there. Then He told me the exact date I was supposed to have it. After the dream He woke me up to make sure I remembered it. I was a little nervous about leading the group, but one day about a week later God told me to start asking people. Everyone could come except one person. I was amazed that I could get us all together on a weekend night being that we are in college and busy. God spoke so clearly through me that night and I went through the seminar guide and people's lives were changed. Everyone kept saying that they knew God had ordained for them to be there. My friends were amazed that God would talk to them and that it was so easy. It didn't stop there that night; my friends are continuing to journal and God has taken them to a whole new level in their walk. I am still amazed! Thank you for giving me the words for one of the best experiences I've ever had -- journaling. God is moving in Charleston, SC!

Astounding Testimonies from “Plant a Church a Day” Ministries in India
This amazing ministry sends people into villages where they pray for people to be healed. Through the impact of the ensuing miracle, they plant a church in another village in India. As you can see, it looks 'easy' to plant a church....a miracle or two, the people respond to Jesus...and a church is planted! A total of 192 churches were planted in 2002. Their goal is 200 per year. I wanted a Ph.D. but Father gave me more!!!
I have struggled to "hear" God's voice in the past — thank God it is now something of the past! 

Dr. Mark, I wanted to just complete a Ph.D. program with CLU but Father gave me more. He gave me a relationship with Him...Praise His Holy Name. I'm so excited knowing that I experience God rather that just knowing Him through the scriptures. Yes, I was a Pharisee - "I have walked by faith not by emotions" but now I walk by faith with the wonderful blessing of experiencing the joy of faith in a LIVING God, not merely a text!!!

I can't tell you how grateful I am to you for suggesting to me to take the course, Communion With God. I was never before so excited and charged up by anything else as by this experience. I'm truly blessed.

May I translate your programs in Afrikaans (my mother tongue) and use it in teaching others these wonderful truths, please?

It is the desire of my heart that God's children can all experience this precious closeness of Father in Jesus through the Holy Spirit... to KNOW JESUS is ALIVE and ACTIVE in us, to hear Him and see Him sharing Himself with us! Glory to the King of kings, the Lord of lords.

Dr. Mark, I have always loved to teach/consult/counsel and to see people change and develop into the best person/professional they possibly can. Since Jesus is no longer only the God of my reasoning but also of my heart, I'm bubbling over with joy and experience a peace within I never had. Coming in contact with God in us can change the world we are "bound" in and He in me set me free. Glory to Him!

I have shared my experiences with my dear wife Erna and daughter Amanda, and within the same hour they came in dialogue with God — Praise His Holy Name!

There is nothing more valuable, precious, wonderful and exiting that to be in communion with God. His direction is much better, joyful and purposeful than my best strategies.

Now I can understand Matthew 6:22,23 because I know where I'm coming from... a place of darkness and limitations to what is known to my senses, living out of my reasoning! I can now see and hear Him who has emptied Himself for me, who has brought me out of darkness in His wonderful glorious light.
