I quiet myself: “I am here, Lord. I wait for You. I watch and listen. I long to hear Your voice. I long to see Your face.”
My Lord speaks: “It is not your effort, your toil that brings or precedes an encounter with Me. Rather it is dying to self. It is not your effort or your toil that brings the increase. Rather it is My presence, My anointing, and My favor. Every kernel of corn must fall to the ground and die to grow and multiply, to truly live. Lay down your life and I will give you life abundant. Choose Me. Choose fellowship with Me, rather than the ways of this world, and every encounter with Me will tend our garden, the garden I am planting in you and around you on earth as it is in heaven. The garden is growing and flourishing in My presence. My every word spoken to you causes supernatural growth in My garden. My garden, everything I’ve planted here for your enjoyment and pleasure, absorbs every word I speak, every breath I breathe, My lifeforce, My presence, My essence, My very being, and supernatural fruit springs forth. Bite into this fruit. Taste and see that I am good. What I am doing is good.”
Jesus picks a huge piece of fruit off a tree, and hands it to me. He smiles and nods at me. I don’t recognize the fruit. It’s similar to a peach, but the color and textures, I have not seen before. I hold the fruit in two hands. It is big and heavy. I smile and take a bite. The taste is heavenly perfection – the perfect balance of sweet and savory. A nectar as thick as honey bubbles up from the center. The delicious juice runs down my chin and hands. I don’t care. I laugh and tip my head back to pour the nectar into my mouth. As I pour it in, Jesus speaks.
“Drink deeply of all I have to give you. Bite into it. Chew it. Enjoy it. Drink deeply of My goodness. I know what satisfies you. Fill yourself up with all I have for you – that My fragrance and My essence seep through the pores of your skin. The fruit I bear, the fruit I bring forth never withers. The fruit I bring forth is always in season. I am planting an orchard, a vineyard, a garden for you the likes of which you have never seen.”
Suddenly I notice the hills and meadow all around us are bursting with color and life. Birds are playing and singing. Butterflies of every color imaginable dance together. Their coloring is supernatural. They glow with iridescence. Hundreds of butterflies land on Jesus’ outstretched arms. Their beautifully colored wings flutter and dance. They all look to Him as He speaks.
“This is what I am doing. I am doing a new thing. I am transforming lives of darkness into My beauty, My perfection. They are coming. They are lining up, and they are coming. Out of Me and our fellowship, the harvest springs forth.”
I reach out my arms, still holding the delicious fruit. I look at the sky and laugh. Suddenly hundreds of butterflies land on me, licking up the juice that had spilled onto my hands and chin. I laugh aloud, and they come to eat the nectar right out of my mouth.

Tara,
This is the first time I have ever gotten on this website and your blog. Clearly, you have deep relational time with Jesus. I just read the How to Have an Encounter with Jesus and the Butterflies. I could barely read through this as my heart weeps for that special time with Jesus. It's not that I have not experienced anything with Him ~ I just long for a more intimate relationship with Jesus.
Thank you so much for sharing. I find encouragement through what you share.

Hi Suzie! Thank you for sharing your heart. I am so grateful you were blessed. Keep pressing into Him. He knows your heart's desire, and He has much more for you. Have you read any of Mark & Patti Virkler's books? I've gone through their course, “The 4 Keys to Hearing God's Voice” three times. It was this teaching that catapulted me into visions, dreams and revelation that I had greatly desired, but only occasionally experienced. May you sense His embrace to a greater degree each day. Enjoy the journey!

Hi Tara,
Thank you for your recommendation of "The 4 Keys to Hearing God's Voice." I recently attended a three-week school through Global Awakening called Global Summer Intensive at which Mark Virkler was an instructor. In fact, he instructed us using this specific book. I smiled when I saw you went through the course three times, apparently, I need to get my material out again as well. The Lord is so good that he encouraged my to do this through you.
Again, thank you for sharing your journey's with Jesus. You have no idea how much that increases my faith!

Response #2 to "More Jesus"
by Tara Dulin
Hi Suzie, I am pleased to hear you have already been introduced to Mark's anointed teaching! The 6 hour seminar you attended was only an introduction. I highly recommend you work through the Virkler's 10 week training course, "The 4 Keys to Hearing God's Voice". To do so with a small group would be another source of encouragement to you. The more I've gone through the teaching series, the more the Holy Spirit has instructed me. Please keep me posted on what the Lord does. I look forward to hearing from you again! God bless!

Hey Tara.
Thank you so much for allowing God to use you.
I happened to be watching Mark Virkler's interview on its supernatural by Sid Roth, he only mentioned your name once and quickly but the Lord led me to find your blog and read it. I was so moved, my heart was warm again. I begun listening to introductions to Hearing Gods voice on this website and God really showed up for me and I've been having supernatural encounters ever since filled with Gods live and revelations. He speaks to me daily and now I recently got the book of the 10 week teaching and cannot wait to begin.
I would like to testify to you that I am one of the many butterflies your blog has led to encounters with Christ.
I can confirm and say today two months later, I opened your blog, skipped all the pages to page 5 and opened this one as the Holy Spirit led me and I now know why.
May God continue to bless you abundantly. I really love you.
Mercy
