Todd Engwall, a fellow spiritual traveler, submits his journals with our Lord to me for verification.  Recently, he asked our Lord to tell him more about faith, after watching the movie, The Bible, where he saw the faith of Abraham in action.  Todd agreed to share this journal with others, so here is what he received: Lord, do you want to tell me more about faith?

Blessed Holy Lord God, what is Your word for Your people today?   My word is My great love for each and everyone! My word is My constant abiding and presence with each one, no matter the circumstances of life! Remember, I never leave you nor forsake you, for I am always with you, no matter what you do or say. Spend time with Me so that I can shower My love gifts upon you. Be open to Me in everything, and I do mean everything! 

Blessed Lord God, help me to see in all of the  seemingly "bad" things happening around me as an opportunity to watch You do Your wondrous works of mercy, grace, and healing.   Ben, if all of My people would look at the events of life this way, I could accomplish more! Do My people not realize how big a roll they play in heavenly things taking place on planet earth? I want My people to anticipate My bringing healing and restoration into each and every one! Remember, anticipation is hope, which does produce results!

My people, though you may wander far from Me, know that I am always there to put My arms around you, to love on you, and to bless you. So easily do you get caught up in the affairs of life and forget that I am there with you to deal with each and every situation, need, desire. Know that I do allow things to happen to draw My people back to Me. No, this is not punishment. Rather, it is one of the ways that I use to bring My wayward children back to Me. Read the Scriptures. You see this pattern repeated over and over again.

Holy Lord God, our culture views adoption in different ways. One will say: "I have three children, one of them is adopted." Another, given the same condition will say: "I have three children", acknowledging all equally. Lord, we know we are adopted into Your family (Romans 8:15, Ephesians 1:5).  How do You view adoption?  

Lord, it is said that there is nothing we can do to make You love us less, nor is there anything we can do to get You to love us more. Jesus, Your comments, please, on this saying.   Ben, this is truth! People so want to do things to please Me. In a way, that is good, but what I desire is that they are in fellowship, in communion, with Me. Then what they do as a result of our fellowship brings glory and honor to our Heavenly Father. That is My desire - first things

Blessed Holy Lord Jesus, when believers have personal problems, they often blame Satan and his imps. My observations show another source of problems: The believers do not rely upon you, not spending needed time with You, to allow You to bring needed healing and restoration that only You can provide.   Ben, once again you have hit the nail on the head, so to speak. When problems arise, especially in personal relationships, the tendency is to solve the problems on their own effort.

Grace, grace, grace! That is what I have poured out you, My people!  Why do so many of you want to go back under the law? Do you not know that I have set you free of the requirements of the law? The law requires death for transgressions while My grace provides life, joy, and peace.  Do you so soon forget that I took all of your sins, past, present, and future, upon My body on the cross? Why do you not accept totally what I have

Lord, Jesus, what Easter message do You have for Your people?   Rejoice! And again I say rejoice! For I am risen indeed! I am set on high to bring deliverance to the captives, to set them free to worship Me in Spirit and in truth! Know that you are My special children, that I am setting you free to worship Me in Spirit and in truth! Know that I am coming soon, sooner than you think! Set aside your personal petty issues and walk freely with Me. Let Me be your guide, your friend,

Jesus, as we search the Scriptures to find You, to see what You did for us, instead of searching them to find out what we can do for You, I believe we are moving in grace. Your comments, please, upon my thoughts.   Ben, you have hit the nail on the head, so to speak. I so want My people to walk in grace, to spend time with Me, to search for Me and find Me. I want them to know about My grace and My love - not what they think they should do to please and/or appease Me. I have impugned My righteousness
